All you need for a pedalboard
I use these on several pedalboards and have never had a problem. They connect snugly, stay in place, and communicate reliably. They are priced reasonably but do not feel “budget” to me.

They work in a pinch
If you need to use a midi controller or a rackmount synthesizer, it will work. I don’t know if I would want to use these cables for a gig but it’s definitely a good back up and if you’re not gonna move them around too much, they’ll be fine and the price is right

Good MIDI cables at a reasonable price
I own several older MIDI devices which require use of 5-pin DIN cables for interconnections, and had lost all my cables in a home fire. These cables work fine and allow me to use my older MIDI devices once again.
