These solar lanterns are fantastic! The dancing flame effect looks great outdoors, and they light up automatically at night. They charge fast and don’t have to be in direct sunlight. They are lightweight so you can hang them anywhere. Waterproof and easy to hang.

I bought these as decorations for my front door for Halloween, but since I've already got a few compliments on them, I'll probably just leave them there. These are so cute & surprisingly pretty bright. The reason I only gave 4 stars was because of the length of time they stay bright for. I do realize that because I live in Minnesota & winter has already begun, that we tend to get less day light now for them to charge. I work 6am-6pm five days a week and usually move these into a sunny spot before I leave for work in the morning so they can charge in the sun. On average, I'd say they stay lit for about 3-4 hours a night. Sometimes a little shorter. On the other hand, the flickering looks great, they're super cute as fall decorations and I got them for a great price! As far as weather proof goes, it has already snowed once so far & they seem to be holding up just fine in the cold weather. I've only had them about a month so far so I guess time will tell. (

Just purchased but so far I would say they look good. Throws off a nice ambient “flame” light for the graveyard. They are very light being plastic so I tied them onto the post hangers to make sure they don’t blow off from a strong gust of wind. Not a “full size” lantern being only 9” tall but still look good. Nice adjustment to the flame brightness. I’m running at lowest set point and still look great. Waiting to see how many Halloween’s this lightweight plastic lantern lasts. If they last only one or two seasons then I would say they are too expensive. I also don’t think the battery can be replaced.
