Great for kitty
The kitten loves this. Even my finicky geriatric cat doesn't turn her nose up at it. The size is just the right amount without any waste making it more cost effective than larger cans.

Great food....BUT....arrrgghhhhh....!!! LOL
Welllll.....unfortunately, everyone EXCEPT the kitten loves this stuff! He'll eat it at first, but the second the bowls are put down for the other 5 with the adult food in them, he's off like a shot to shove each of them out of the way with his head so he can eat theirs instead! (He's the black and white one, between the two 14 and 15 pound kitties. Yes, he's a huge kitten, and is about 10 pounds at 5.5 months old...lol). This wouldn't be a big deal if it weren't for 2 things: 1. He NEEDS his kitten food for the higher protein, fat, minerals and carbohydrates. 2. The other kitties are quickly getting fat because they DON'T need all of that, but they're eating HIS food....*sigh*. Same thing is happening with the BB kibble. They love his, he loves theirs, and it's damn near impossible to prevent it as I'm not home all the time. FML. LOL. I didn't return it as I'm more stubborn than he is, and I'll keep giving it to him until it's gone, even though I have to mix some of the other food into it. Other than all of THAT, it's a fine kitten food. My kitties have always eaten grain free, and as close to a raw diet as I can give them. They have been on BB Wilderness kibble forever, the only change being that as they got older, I switched to the wilderness formula for indoor cats. They only each get a little bit of wet food (like a Tbsp) as a treat at night, which is also grain free. If it's of any help for you in deciding to switch yours from a "food" that's loaded with useless fillers, to a more natural/higher protein/raw food, I'll just tell you that my oldest kitty lived to 22 (would have been longer if the stress from a big move hadn't happened), and currently, my oldest just turned 21. He's the gray one in the other picture. **For the record, I am NOT saying that BB is specifically the reason for that longevity, but rather that in general, a better kind of food/diet is definitely a big factor, just like it is for people!** :)

🐈 💙’s it so much, it makes him so affectionate that he holds me hostage if I stop petting him!
I can’t speak for the flavor personally, but my kitten LOVES it, so I’m gonna say it’s yummy & the ingredient quality is yummy too. The moment I grab a can, he stops what he’s doing and trots after me. When I crack the top, he sits next to me staring at me. Then, when I scoop some out into his little bowl, he pretty much starts wailing at me to hurry it up because he’s literally wasting away! Then, when I lean down to place the bowl on the floor for him, (keeping a firm grip, because he’s knocked the bowl out of my hand before because of his lack of opposable thumbs) he reaches up with both paws like he is taking the dish from me and helping me to place it on the floor! When he is done, he comes and sits next to me or on me, grooms himself, then grooms me, followed by him rolling around next to me & loudly purring, insisting I pet him, by using his paws to coax my hand over to him. And if I stop, he rubs his head on my hands and arms, licks my fingers and makes sure I understand that he’s in charge and I need to get back to work! Somewhere in the middle of all of this, my hair is being groomed (licked & munched on) & my face is getting shredded... I mean ‘lovingly exfoliated’ by his little sandpaper tongue. If I even try to playfully hide or ignore him, he will either try to coax me to keep petting, or he will lay on me awkwardly & stare at me! (I’m certain there’s some mind control going on at times) I think he might be a little less controlling if there was a discount on this from time to time. 😉 (Hostage photos attached to prove how controlling this food can makes your kitten!)

So Many Vets Recommend It!!!
My kitten absolutely loves this stuff. Whenever I open the can he comes running. Before I got him I did a lot of research on different wet food trying to find the best one. (probably a little to much tbh) :’D Nearly all of the vet sites either said this brand was their 1st pick, or it was at least in the top 5. One thing I have noticed, this food does make his bowel movements a tad softer and stinker, but I think this is a common trait for most wet foods. I give my kitten about 1/2 - 1/4 of the canned food per day in addition to his dry food. This helps with the litter box smell and hardens his poop a little more. If your exploring wet food, but aren’t necessarily thrived about the idea, I’d recommend this brand and mixing it in meals. It brings nutritional variety in a cat’s diet and is not as expensive long term. (Wet food tends to be a bit more pricy) Hope this helps!

My two kittens hate the taste (or maybe the texture)
I got this because I like the idea of grain-free cat food. But my two kittens hate it, and usually refuse to eat it. They like the Fancy Feast Gourmet Naturals much better. I previously got the Tastefuls cat food made by this same company, Blue Buffalo. And my cats liked that one. In fact, I just ordered another case of the Tastefuls, even though it's not grain-free. But I figure I can mix some of the Tastefuls with some of this Grain-Free food, and try to trick my cats into eating it. I guess they don't like the taste, but it's also a pretty dry texture, so maybe that's the sticking part.
