Sweet hammer. Handle feels good and seems like it should hold up great. Have a selection of 4lbs but wanted a 16" that was a bit heavier. I would rather not swing a long handle sledge hammer at cars I'm working on so this should help me avoid that more. Have only used a handful of times so far but I'm impressed with the lack of vibration in the handle and confident comfortable grip. Update Been using this quite a bit over the last few months. Feels like new and confident it will last. Can't belive how much harder this hits than my 4lb and doesn't feel as heavy as it should. If you need a short handle brute hammer this is a good choice.

I'm a union iron worker ,this beater(hammer) is both heavy enough, to get some power,. and light enough, where you're not exhausted carrying it around all day.

My husband loves this product. We ordered 2 different one's for his job. The only things that I would have preferred different is with shipping it wouldn't allow me to track it and with how much money you pend on them it makes you nervous. Plus! The box was open when I got it because they were not put in a sturdier box that could hold the weight needed for them to be shipped. But the product is worth it.

Really good sledge. Not for wimps or hen pecked husbands . Groz not as refined as a Wilton but a good product. At this price might order another one for my crew . Head comes painted flouresant orange paint wears off quick but who cares . Don't lose your man card , buy it . Lol

The paint and rubber label came off where the handle meets the head immediately but the hardened faces are holding up well and its comfortable to use because of the vibration dampening and good grip.

Ergonomically designed hand sledge fits nicely into one hand. This hand sledge hammer is made from quality materials. The hand has steel rod reinforcements throughout the length of the hammer. The hammer is easily balanced in one hand, and has sufficient momentum for most household jobs.

Hard to find a mini sledge over 4lbs. This 6lb sledge was perfect (and indestructible) for a recent demo project. Bright orange color was helpful to find it in the debris piles. I have a dozen sledge hammers of different sizes and this is my favorite. Worth the price.

When can we see the 8lb in a 12” handle become available again!?

Me agradó, este martillo GROZ se comporta bien y parece ser resistente (sólo considero mejor al URREA indestructible), parece ser de buena calidad y los terminados son aceptables, aunque descuidan algo los detalles en las marcas de fabricación del mango, lo malo, es que no sé si en almacén o en el trayecto de entrega como me pasa en muchos pedidos, maltratan mucho los paquetes, este martillo lo recibí con la pintura dañada y el mango algo raspado, como si lo hubiesen aventado y lanzado en varias ocasiones, Amazon debe tener más cuidado al manejar los envíos, últimamente he recibido muchos productos con daños.
