Honest Technology Audio Recorder 3.0 Plus with Cassette Player

This product works great. Well worth the money. I had purchased the Hype Cassette Converter and it wouldn't even do one side of a pre recorded tape. I have converted over 150 tapes without any problem.The software is great and easy to use.

My mom made a cassette tape of our family history about 20 years ago and I'd been meaning to get them transferred while the tapes were still in working order. I used this for transferring them to mp3 and uploaded them into the cloud to share with my family. It worked great and was simple.

I had done some research interviews using a tape recorder back in the day. Given that tape players are disappearing quickly, this was an important time to transfer items to digital format. I was able to run this in the background while doing other work on the same computer. The only drawback is that the program remains active and I have to manually deactivate it every time I need to reboot. It's a minor inconvenience for over 100 hours of interviewing material successfully transferred.

It did not work with my computer. At first the CD did not work. So Amazon sent me a replacement. Then there was no cassette in the recorder. Then found out it was not a recorder but was a player. I did not have a recorder for the cassette.

Product was not easy to use - very quirky. Instructions were not always clear - many things needed to be learned by trial and error (mostly error). Could not get music to transfer as an acceptable digital recording. This was made worse by the fact that the included cassette player was a piece of junk. After trying several cassettes, and a couple of CD's, I finally gave up - not worth my time. I'll just buy the music I want from iTunes. Honestech's VHS software is much better.

the recorder has a tendency to speed up the tape a bit. it is noticeable to me but not to someone who isn't familiar with a song that is being transferred. i'm glad i got this, i needed to transfer a lot of stuff for work, but honestly--speeding up music was driving me crazy. i ended up having to use other methods of getting some of the music on my computer.

Works as described. Really like the automatic setting because it's easy to use.

Item was received faster than expected. Item is very easy to use. I'm glad I can still get use out of my cassettes!

Player machine sound translates into recording. I had to download Audacity software and run it through that - and then learn how to cancel the noise. Only then was I able to save my work. I have ordered I high end player. Waiting for that to arrive to test it. I don't recomend this small player to save your audio cassettes.

Cumplió con mis espectativas. De muy buena calidad. Lo he usado para arreglar mi auto, para vigilancia y para buscar objetos perdidos en pequeños lugares. Es Excelente. En su próxima versión sugiero le pongan visión nocturna. Gracias

Separa las canciones por archivo, los otros graban de corrido toda la cinta y hay que hacer la división en otros programas.

Un producto fácil de utilizar ya que incluye todo el software necesario para que en pocos minutos puedas recuperar esos cassettes en archivos mp3 sin problema
