Its not too sweet not too bland and just right on the hotness scale. PF Changes sauces is way to bland with no heat even though its listed 4/5 on the hot scale. I would give this a 5/10 on the hot scale just enough but no so hot its makes you go WOW that is hot. Maybe on the edge of too hot for some people. Edit Jan 2024 Our local store has Huy Fong - Sriracha back in stock (3 years) and its $6.19 per 17oz not $19.00 like you see scalper get. And they did not change the taste its the same as old. We did a taste (look at photo) they are listed in order of best (left) to worst far right. Note: PF Chang, Lee Kum Kee and Sky Valley taste good but are like ketcup no heat at all. Same with the Fix red. Tabasco And AssKicking sriracha have good heat but taste bad, metallic and tabasco like. The Rooster and Meijer are almost the same in taste and heat. I know how? Meijer copied it well Premium (Underwood) is the company that provided the pepers to Hung Foy Rooster but they failed to match the taste its a step down. The Fix red has very low heat but good taste. The Fix green has high heat and good taste but not sriracha taste but good. If I had to keep two of them 1. Hung Foy or Meijers 2. Fix green just because I like its heat its 2x as hot as any other on the photo. And tastes goo. Its almost my favorite. But the taste not quite as good as Hung Foy. The fix is expensive 10oz = $10.00 or 100 cents an oz Hung Foy $6.19 for 17 oz or 36 cents a oz better deal. The meijers is even less.

This Sriracha sauce is awesome. It’s got a good spicy kick but doesn’t burn your mouth off. The flavor’s got a little sweetness and garlic, so it tastes way better than just plain hot sauce. I can't stand Tabasco since using this one. I put it on pretty much everything. The bottle is easy to use and doesn’t get messy. If you want something that’s spicy but not crazy hot, this is for you! Although I really hate to recommend this, it seems it's always sold out.

The best out here. Flavor heat and just tasty. Can't live without it.

Love these, won't travel without, turns bland food into acceptable if not incredible

I only like this product and it’s difficult to get some, - in the smaller bottles - around the area where I live. Now, buying this big container, a could refill the small containers. Excellent price/quality!

Net: Nothing better on market today! OK, Yes It changed since the manufacturing plant burned down and they have resumed production of this "Red Gold". Flavor is the EXACTLY same but the "HEAT" is defiantly 1/3 of what once was. I simply add couple drops of "capsicum extract” or "Daves Insanity" (sold on amazon) to my bottle of Huy Fong Sriracha. I have purchased Huy Fong Sriracha when the ONLY PLACE I could find it was in “China Town” in San Fransisco 1980's. I carried 2 of them back with me (and fresh fortune cookies) to East Coast on plane (before TSA) every couple months, I love this stuff so much. I purchased the Gallon JUG of this stuff from amazon just recently. I simply refill my existing bottle adding few drops of capsicum for extra heat (does not change the flavor profile). JUG I purchased is same red color as it has always been and flavor is spot on. I cannot speak for other amazon reviewers that bought in smaller containers and complained about color and flavor difference. Simply, still the best Siracha compared to the rest sold out there. I, like most people tried replacements past 3+ years nothing compares to the flavor and texture of this sauce. Just add heat if want it spicier.

Hot dang this stuff is good on literally everything. I’d say it’s the new ketchup
