This wire stripper is poor as far as automatic wire strippers go. There's a manual tension adjustment screw that needs to be fine tuned before each use, calibrated to the gauge of wire you're stripping. This will require a small bit of test wire every time and a few attempts at getting the tension just right if you don't want to end up with mangled wires that is. The stripper also doesn't fully reopen after stripping a wire. This means that with every single wire stripping action, you have to first pry the handles apart to make sure they're fully open lest you end up with mangled wires. The wire length adjustment is okay and not too stiff like the irwin stripper. Would have been nice to have length measurements in mm like the irwin stripper though. In short, it's fairly useful, even if comparitively below average, when you're making 10+ strips with plenty of wire to spare but when it comes to making precise, single cuts, you'd be better off with a box cutter.

Once tried, you will never go back to traditional wire stripper. Time Saver
