Best beanbag beans ever!
These are THE BEST beans for filling or refilling a beanbag chair. They make the chair firm but still flexible and fun to sit on. They hold up for years (this is our second beanbag chair and we've used these beans for both) and are way better than some other products made from chunks of foam. Highly recommend!!!

Good, as far as fill beans go
These beans are all round and of a uniform size; they make for a very comfy lightweight beanbag. Like all beans, they're a bit staticky and tend to float out of the bag when we refill our beanbags, or escape from the beanbags themselves later on - I'm always finding another one behind the couch or in the corner of the kitchen. And if the beanbags are in constant use, the filling needs to be added to once a year. I fill my bags by making a fill tube out of an 11x17 sheet of cardstock with packing tape, then cutting the bag just barely large enough to insert my fill tube a little ways, then taping the tube and bag together where I've inserted it. That seems to minimize static and directs 99.9% of the beans into the bag rather than everywhere else. In the past two months I started filling my bean bags with shredded memory foam instead - which is denser and easier to work with, and thus far seams just as comfortable to sit on - but admittedly does weigh more. I'll have to compare in another few months.

These are awesome!
Works great and I highly recommend using the paper towel tube to get them into your bean bag. My bean bag had foam rubber pieces in it. They were horrible. I removed them & filled the bag with the Big Joe beans and it’s so much better. The chair is more comfortable and moldable.

You can never have enough of the refills.
We got one of these years ago for a granddaughter now 16 and she still uses it. So we bought 2 of the new style ones for our great grandkids this past Christmas and ordered an extra bag of the refill beans which you will need eventually. These Big Joe products are wonderful. Even the adults like them. I think as great grandparents we need them too! They are so comfortable!

Not bad. Crazy static and easy to make mess
It takes a lot of these to refill a bean bag. I bought a huge bag to refill my Big Joe, to “fluff” it back up and didn’t have enough. I’ve since gone to memory foam to help as a filler (less mess). Neither are good for the environment. The beads are crazy static and go everywhere! I cut a tiny hole and taped a paper towel roll in the opening like a funnel. Those beads would literally fly out because of the static electricity so I had to clip the end of the funnel closed and unclip the funnel once the funnel was securely in the bean bag just to pour the beads into it. It was a pain to fill up and recommend getting help. So fill or refill your item in the kitchen or place with no carpet. Don’t do it outside or animals//birds might try to eat the beads. I also filled an ottoman but wish I hadn’t used these because it makes so much noise. It isn’t a bad filler! Just be prepared for the extreme static electricity and expect to make a mess if you don’t prep well!

The product itself is great. It really puffed up my chairs and my sons enjoy it much more. Filling it wasn't too hard, although we had to do it outside. This leads me to the fact that the static electricity on these things is insane. They stick to EVERYTHING. The ground outside was stuck as well, and it really made it a pain to clean up. But, if you follow the instructions, it does limit it.

The product was great. Very lightweight and easy to handle and just two bags filled a large beanbag chair. So far - we've only been using it for 3 weeks or so - the stuffing is comfortable.

Volume, price and quality are tricky with bean-bag fillers. This product just about delivers. Not enough to top up our old Fat Boy, and certainly not enough for a whole chair, unless it's dog-size. And they feel like they will squish and not recover, like other reviewer said. Price seems to fluctuate a lot, so watch out. Overall, best of a bad bunch?
