Performance Grips for PlayStation 5 (PS5) Controller (Nightfall Black)

I got these instead of replacing the controller shell to add some grip. This were much easier to install and they work well. The added padding is nice too.

Has great grip, feels great in my hand. Without them on, my palms would sweat and sometimes I would drop the controller after a long gaming session. It has a nice height to it so you can easily control and hit buttons without having to smash em. They are thick so they should last. Only con if you can say is when applying them if your not careful the tape will lock in.

I like the grips. They do fit kind of weird on my ps5 controller, and the edges do raise some, but other than that it’s good. Definitely makes the controller more comfortable

These grips are the best. Had them on my Xbox One and now on both my PS5 controllers. The newest gen controllers are so slippery, these are a must for me.

First off I will say these things are great. They take a little patience while applying, and you can see the slight wrinkles on the reserve side, but those are the only two real drawbacks for these guys, as long as you're not planning to take them off. Before I get into the removal I will say that they may be noticeable in the photo, but the slight wrinkling isnt noticeable by touch and it's on the back so doesn't bother me at all. I did have to remove one side of these from my original controller and it does leave the entire adhesive layer in your controller when you pull off the skin (at least it did on mine). However, with a little rubbing, and a tiny bit of GooGone, they look brand new. I was taking mine off because I had ripped a piece and was replacing it with a new one, so I figured all it did was give it more to stick to, but that is only the case for a little bit. I honestly thought I was being slick, saving time and adding more adhesive to the situation, but that just allows the piece to shift over a fairly short period of time. Make sure to clean it well before you add these. All in all I really like them. I replaced the back piece of my new camo controller with a "textured" shell that worked just a tad better than the stock when it comes to slipping off everything so, as you can see, I got a set for it and I'm totally happy with it covering part of the print. I think it looks great actually so yeah, get some!

This has completely ruined my PS5 Dualsense controller!! Not an exaggeration. It feels great when it's on, though in about 6 months the rubber completely separated from its clear plastic underlining. Instead of the rubber itself adhering directly to the controller they use a clear plastic film layer under the rubber which separates and the rubber falls off leaving a sticky cellophane which you can see in the picture after I peeled it off (which in itself was not easy). You can see the completely gummed up sticky residue it has left on the controller which does not come off with alcohol or acetone. The controller is unusable now, totally ruined. This happened to me years ago with a PS4 controller and stupid me believing their claim that the grips are improved now. STAY AWAY from this. I applied one by Hotline Games 2.0 on my Dualshock controller at about the same time. Absolutely no issues with the Hotline Games one. They use 3M for their adhesive and I am even able to remove it and reapply it without issue. I love using a grip, though NEVER again with Kontrol Freek products.

The grips are nice and comfortable, but the edge of it goes right up to the X button. Makes it a bit awkward for certain games. I expected better from this brand. It's nearly impossible to install without wrinkles.
