This is a great product and a bargain!
I bought this timer to operate a heat scavenger fan to cool off an engine bay. I need the fan to operate for 10 minutes after I turn on a 12vdc switch. Also, I need to have the fan turn off on those occasions when I want a shorter run and manually turn off the switch. This timer satisfies my requirements! I did have one problem after it was programmed as it did not seem to power on via the 9-volt battery I used for programming on my desk. I wrote to the e-mail address provided in the instructions, and within an hour or so I received confirmation that my programming selections were correct for my requirements. I was extremely pleased with the prompt and professional response I got. So, with the confidence gained by the response, the next morning, I got up and connected the switch to the 12vdc battery in the vehicle I planned to use it in and tested it again. And guess what: the timer worked perfectly. I don't know why it didn't seem to test well with the 9-volt battery I used for programming. But who cares. If you're curious, for my particular timing requirements noted above, I selected Function #17 and Trigger Function #2. They work just as I need them to. Also, I used a multimeter instead of an LED light to follow the timer's output while timing and testing. It works as well as an LED, and I had the multimeter on hand and didn't have a handy LED. The only thing I would have done differently if I were buying today is that I would have bought the inexpensive programming button kit that is offered as an option. It would have saved me time and effort while programming and would be well worth the few bucks.

Used to delay a light bar on my zero turn
This is an amazing little device with way more functions than I needed. I'm sure I'll come up with more uses in the future. All I'm using this for is to delay turning on the LED light bar on my zero turn. The ZT has a 4 way key for running the machine. The first position of the key turns on the lights. So when you go to start the machine, you have to click through the light position. I didn't like the LED light bar flashing on/off real fast as I did this. This timer allowed me to set a few seconds delay before the light turns on.

Works great
This compact timer and programmer can be a little daunting at first but if you watch a couple of YouTube videos and read the online manual, it really is not that difficult. I had to update the programmer firmware before all of the different timer options became available. I use the timer to automatically shut off the lights in the utility body of my service truck, incase I forget to shut the switch off. The lights will auto shut down after 8 minutes. No concern of coming out to a dead battery because I closed the doors and left the light on. It works flawlessly.

Great versatility, so, read read the manual in its entirety first.
I bought this timer for the rear view camera that I installed in my 20-year old car. I set up the rear view camera to use the reverse light as the 12V DC power source, but that configuration has a short coming that the rear view get cut off as soon as I shift out of reverse. I wanted an "off delay", so that the rear view camera stays active for a few seconds after I shift out of reverse. This timer is compact, mechanically rugged, and versatile enough for this application, although there is no operational temperature range specified. The instruction manual was reasonably readable and comprehensive, but the terminology related to trigger signal needs some clarity. The manual could have been much clearer if they explained the logic this device uses to set up internal pull-up and pull-down resister so that the triggering signal can be of any permutation of "high impedance vs low impedance to GRD/B+" as well as flexibility of setting it up as a voltage level-sensitive vs. edge triggered device. Also, the device programming is straightforward and easy, especially if you get the optional configuration board and whole bunch of alligator clip wires. Overall, I am happy with this product, but It may be a little too versatile and cumbersome for people who do not have a background in electrical engineering.

Lots of options. Instructions are overwhelming at first but they are easy to program.
Small timer with lots of options for programming. I have mine set to turn off 2 hours after a trigger to power a relay for a power inverter. The programming can be slightly overwhelming at first, but easy once you figure out the procedure. The minutes/hours/days setting was the most confusing in the instructions for me. I found one of their videos on how to set the mins/hours/days and that helped me figure out what I was supposed to do. I then set the timer how I needed pretty quickly. I read other reviews about an extra wire compared to the 5amp. Mine did not have any extra wires and programmed just the same as the 5amp. Maybe they changed the design since those reviews. This is my second timer and I will buy another if I have a project that calls for one.

Very versatile and useful relay
This little gizmo works well. I had a complicated project and found one of the many functions to suit my needs. There are hundreds of ways to program it. Programming is a bit complicated, but once you get the hang of it, you can do so many things with it. It has flash memory so it stores your programming even when powered off. I am doing another project where this would be useful, and I am going to buy another one. Highly recommended. (My only downside it that it powers up with a slight delay where the output is negative. I was trying to us a reversed output function, so that caused a slight positive burst when powering up. I was able to use the timer feature to get it to work without reversing the output, so in the end, there was a programmable function that did the trick.

Timer worked as advertised. I'm using it for a one-shot 0.25 second time on delay to open/release vacuum on an automatic choke system on my generator whenever it cranks. The Relay worked perfect and my generator starts consistently now! Yahoo. We'll see if it actually lasts inside my generator enclosure:)

I installed LED daytime running lights on an old hobby vehicle and used a pair of these to turn off the light adjacent to the activated turn signal. They work perfectly and added that extra touch of class to the project.

I needed a device to extend the electric choke on my Honda generator. After months of searching for the right tool for the job, I found this on amazon. For the price I took a chance, and I wasn't disappointed! It is very versatile in its settings and once you get the hang of it it is very easy to program. They have posted some instructional videos for those who are visual learners. Good job guys - I have referred you to a few people already.

Seems to work as advertised. Takes a while to figure out the programming though

Works really well. Setup a delay-off circuit on my snowmachine for the GPS and this worked perfectly.
