VERY important review PLEASE read...Get the heavyweight winter version!
Firstly, anyone reading reviews for this product, please understand, there are 3 different thickness sizes (lightweight, all-season, and winter-heavyweight) available for this duvet. The thickness you choose will determine how thick and lofty, how much overall fill weight, and how warm the duvet is. Many people fail to mention the thickness size they choose, and this may influence their review opinion of the product. In my case, I got the Winter-Heavyweight Twin size, and YES, it does look very similar to the product photo of the item on Amazon; it is very full, lofty, and has puff to it. This duvet is a dream—HUGE bang for your buck... Secondly, you MUST acknowledge this product is 100% organic certified (that's a BIG deal) at this price piont. Additionally, this duvet is cruelty-free, meaning the feathers are sourced humanely. (also a BIG deal in 2025/2026). The organic 240-thread cotton is well above the expected industry standard for a similar product in this catgory. As one reviewer noted, "You don't need a duvet cover for this duvet technically," and it's true. It's soft, has breathability and crisp strength to it, and makes a slight papery crinkle noise when it's rustled. That slight crinkle sound is the result of quality organic cotton being used to make the product. It's a built-in indicator of quality and typical of organic cottons. Lastly, I must give you a 3-night update on what I really think of this duvet after using it here in New York City, where evening temps have been dipping into the mid 40s. First, the fluff... For the money, it's a HUGE bang for your buck if you're looking for big loft and maximum puffiness for dollars spent, plus comfortable warmth. And so far no, it's not too hot. Again, remember, the thickness size you choose matters, people! I have a "Winter-Heavyweight Twin." It has a fill weight of 44 oz for a twin (that's a very AMAZING weight amount for a twin across the market, meaning it's an indicator of loft and puffiness). And YES, my winter heavyweight twin I purchased for $79 does indeed look like the product photo for the item; it is very fluffy, has loft, and even without putting it in the dryer initially out-of-the-box, it still shook out very nicely with a lot of poof to it. I've used it three nights; it's dreamy. I researched duvets a lot. This duvet has 95% waterfowl feathers and 5% down. More premium high-end duvets have a fill type of 85% down or more and weigh slightly less, but you pay a premium for the maximum "puff" from more down and the fact that the duvet is slightly more lightweight because down weighs less than feathers. Make no mistake, this is a premium-grade product. Even with 95% waterfowl feathers and 5% down, this duvet has VERY high loft to it in the twin winter heavyweight, and although it is sewn-through box stitching, as opposed to baffle-box stitching, it is still a very well-constructed 100% organic cotton all-natural duvet with a high fill weight, which helps determine how puffy or lofty the duvet appears. Although this duvet has weight to it, it isn't too much weight—it's not heavy. It's just right. You can kind of control and mold the duvet around your face and body when you sleep and control how much of the weight of the duvet rests on you; it's dreamy...the real deal, kinda nice. Again, guys, remember, for the price (I paid $79), this 100% organic CERTIFIED duvet with VERY HIGH fill weight (get the heavyweight winter version for maximum loft) is, quite frankly, ...a steal! As for the slight crinkle noise it makes...that's a sign of sheer quality and is typical of organics. I personally love the sound of the fabric; it's comforting. And for the record, the pics I included of my winter-weight twin laid across my bed were done by lightly throwing it over the bed; I did not adjust it in any way or make it poof up in any way prior to taking the photo; this depicts its natural fluff. That is natural loft and puff from the fill weight and feathers/down you see and is how the product appears in real life. Dreamy! For the price, this is a STEAL in the winter weight. ... Sweet dreams, I HIGHLY recommend.

Great quality-not extremely heavy-Perfect
Absolutely comforting and also not overwhelmingly hot in summer either. We use ours year round and it has been amazing !! I’m buying another and giving my old one to my daughter!

Value for price point
Posting a photo of my unmade bed so you can really see how fluffy this comforter is!! It also makes the noisy, crunchy sound I wanted - like a hotel bed! I’ve had this on my bed for a few days now and I love it! Worth the price. I purchased a different comforter first (cheaper) and was not impressed. So glad I found this one - exactly what I was looking for! I got the oversized king and it’s definitely long enough to keep both sides completely covered - no fighting for the blanket. Honestly though - I sleep alone so I never have to fight for covers. They’re all mine!

poor quality
It is comfortable, it keeps it super warm, it looks very fancy in bed, but I do not recommend that you buy it for the following: I decided to buy it for my son and since he started using it, he started having a lot of allergies, he keeps sneezing and telling me that something was stinging him at night and he was constantly complaining that the feathers were stinging him at night and waking him up all the time. I decided to check the bed and the blanket and I was surprised to find that the feathers are coming out horribly everywhere and they really are stinging when they are coming out and too much. When I took the blanket out of its cover, feathers came out in bunches from everywhere and I checked and there were feathers all over the floor of my son's room. I do not think it should be like this since I work a lot with people who use feather blankets and this does not happen to them because even though they are of better quality. Well, this has been our horrible experience. If I could, I would return it, but the time limit for returning it has expired.

Good quality and comfortable
Good quality. I wish it had additional tie points for the duvet cover, as it only has ties on the corners so for such a large comforter it slips around in the duvet. But it’s very comfortable.

Good Quality
We are using two of these on a king bed. We were worried about the size, particularly the length. They are plenty big. The covering seems to be good quality materials and stitching. They are plenty warm.

Fussy granddaughter loves!
Got for my granddaughter's birthday. She is very fussy. She loves this comforter! It is warm without being heavy, soft and comfy. I can't say enough good things about it. No kidding, she comments every time I go to her parents' house.

Great quality!!
Prior to purchasing this comforter, I looked in stores in Germany and the USA as well as online. I couldn't justify paying the prices that were asked for premium heavyweight comforters, but I was worried that if I purchased a comforter online it would smell funny, poke me with feathers, etc. I took the plunge here because I figured I could return it if I hated it. When it arrived, it was vacuum packed and seemed quite heavy. I opened the package and the was NO SMELL at all, although the package indicated "down and feathers have a natural smell which will fade away once you have taken them out of the package and aired them for some time". I fully expected that it would have at least some odor, but I didn't notice any at all. Initially the comforter was pretty flat, although there was no clumping of the filling and it was very uniform. I shook it slightly and laid it over the bed knowing that it would likely puff up over time. When I returned to it a few hours later, it was still pretty flat so I just shook it in two or three large sections and it plumped up nicely. I was struck by the quality of the workmanship. The seams are tight, there are loops to connect it to the duvet cover, and there is no "dirt" or cotton shell in the fabric that is referred to in the description. The cotton fabric is actually quite smooth and doesn't make any weird crinkling sounds. I purchased a king size for my queen-size bed, since I hate the feeling of a cover that isn't quite big enough; I'm happy to report it nearly touches the floor on both sides of the bed. So far I've slept under it one night, and it was very warm with just a sheet between me and the comforter (I ordered a duvet cover, but it hasn't arrived yet). Overall, I am very impressed by the quality of this comforter. I had no such expectations at this price point. I would be purchasing another one for a Christmas gift, but the heavyweight/optimum warmth is not available. APSMILE, if you are reading this, please make more of these available!! You have a great product here!
