Terrible product by Sandisk. Wireless keeps on dropping, when it does connect, the transfer is painfully slow, I suggest going for the iexpand, it connects directly, has in built s/w so you don’t have to download any app and the transfer is fast unlike this product.

The reason I am writing this review is that I spent an entire weekend trying to get this thing to work on my Windows 10 PC and in reviewing many of the answered questions and comments, I noticed that many people returned the product because they were not able to make it work. On Monday morning, I called Sandisk and I was surprised at how helpful they were. Within five minutes, I could see the information I had loaded on the drive on my browser. It was amazingly easy but very difficult if you don’t know what to do. For that I blame Sandisk because they should have done a better job of explaining the instructions. To access the drive on Windows 10, 1) Disconnect the WIFI from the computer’s home network. 2) Connect the SanDisk drive to the WIFI internet connection on the computer. Here is where it get’s confusing. The WIFI connection will say it’s not connected to the internet and it's not but it will soon be connected to Sandisk. 3) Open a Browser and insert: 172.25.63.1-myconnect (replace – with a /)Now you are connected to Sandisk. At this point you will see the content of the drive on the browser. The computer cannot be connected to the home network when you use the drive as WIFI. Instead, you are connected to Sandisk’s website. Sandisk gives two options when you activate it. a) You connect to the drive from your device. b) You connect to your drive from your device AND the internet. I have never use the second one so can’t speak to that. Unfortunately, without an internet connection, the drive will not work wirelessly. Also, to activate the wireless feature, the cap must be inserted to the drive. If you plug the USB to anything, i.e., computer, charger, etc., the WIFI feature will not work. In using my phone and tablet, I noticed that the app automatically disconnected me from the home network and connected to Sandisk on it’s own. Hope this helps.

Personalmente ho un iPhone e, non avendo la possibilità di espandere la memoria del telefono, questo dispositivo è una benedizione: con la sua app specifica perfettamente compatibile con iPhone (anche su iOS 10) si riescono a trasferire tutti i tipi di file. Utilizzo la libreria foto di iCloud, quindi lo spazio occupato dalle foto non è mai un problema se sono sotto copertura Wi-Fi con una buona banda in upload, ma diversamente è difficile perché dopo un po' le foto e i video occupano tutto lo spazio: con questa chiavetta trasferisco le foto dal telefono e le posso cancellare e, una volta arrivato a casa, posso trasferirle nel Mac e da lì caricarle nella libreria foto di iCloud. La chiavetta permette l'utilizzo di 3 dispositivi che possono leggere e scrivere file in contemporanea. L'ho preferito ai modelli specifici con connettore Lightning perché intanto non sono limitato dall'uso di custodie o dall'avere un dispositivo collegato al telefono mentre faccio i trasferimenti, ma anche perché essendo Wi-Fi è compatibile anche con ogni dispositivo Android. Inoltre la chiavetta crea una condivisione di rete WebDAV, quindi i file sono raggiungibili con qualsiasi app in grado di supportarla e permette anche la visione di film Full HD, streaming audio e via discorrendo senza trasferire nulla sul dispositivo (consiglio Infuse per iOS). È anche possibile modificare il nome della rete Wi-Fi generata e, volendo, si può collegare ad una rete internet preesistente così che sia raggiungibile da ogni dispositivo connesso a quella rete. La batteria ci permette di usarla per 3-4 ore consecutive, si può infilare in tasca e usarla anche mentre si è in giro senza alcun tipo di problema. A differenza di quanto letto online, si può usare mentre la si carica, purché sia collegata ad un alimentatore USB e non un computer o dispositivo dove c'è uno scambio dati: in quel caso, si disattiva la condivisione Wi-Fi e diventa una normalissima chiavetta. Ho preso il taglio da 32 GB perché per salvare foto e video mentre sono in vacanza è più che sufficiente. Prodotto assolutamente consigliato e superiore ai prodotti specifici Lightning/Micro USB

This device is perfect. It always pays to go with a well established company. The manual is clear and if you follow the easy instructions, it works the first time. What fun it is to have an additional storage capability for tyou iPad, iPhone or Android applications. This 64GB drive I bought for the grandson. I purchased the 128GB one for myself. Super easy to use. It is USB 3.0 transfer rate which is nice when you copy to the jump drive. This is a must to have if you do any traveling. You can carry around extra photos, spreadsheets from Excel, pdf's, Word documents are all readable by you devide. I have the iPhone 7+ and it is like you have the files on your phone. Instant play.

- Fonctionne très bien avec l'application Infuse pour la vidéo (C'est vraiment ce que je recommande particulièrement) - Supporte très bien iPhone et iPad, 2 ou 3 appareil en même temps - Batterie certes limitée mais qd même très bonne (je dirais au moins 2 films chacun à deux sur la clés, soit 4 films) et il suffit de brancher la clé sur une powerbank pour avoir des heures de streaming. Sinon oui le système pour avoir à la fois le wifi (par exemple celui d'un hotel) et celui de la clé en même temps ne fonctionne quasiment jamais, mais je me suis fais une raison.

I was very hesitant purchasing this item because all descriptions make it seem as if you can only use this thumb drive to stream videos and xfer pictures but I need it to xfer documents from my iPad. First, from a PC, I inserted the thumb drive and read the instructions to locate the current SanDisk app required for my iPad. From my iPad, I loaded the correct app, opened it and followed the setup instructions. It synced up easily with my iPad in the WiFi settings. Using the Pages app, I was able to upload a document in several formats right to the WiFi thumb drive. Using Dropbox, I first needed to load the document I wanted to transfer using a local WiFi hotspot, then I switched to connect to the WiFi thumb drive, then from Dropbox I chose to open the document. Then the SanDisk app showed as an option to upload the doc. It worked great! I made a Documents folder on the WiFi drive and it's worked great ever since. No cords, no jailbreaking the device. EXACTLY what I was looking for - highly recommend!
