Kitchen Bouquet Browning and Seasoning Sauce - 4 oz

I looked for this seasoning for years. For whatever reason, it's not carried in any of my local grocery stores and then I thought to check Amazon and there it was! I used it always as a gravy additive and it's wonderful. Use only a dash for color and flavor then add more if necessary. Keep it tightly sealed and it will last a very long time. I can't speak to the value because I haven't purchased any in such a long time and then there's inflation, but if you've used it before and love it, it's worthwhile. If you haven't and want to eliminate "pale" gravy, try it!

Hi, I actually bought this product for a friend of mine who's store was out of it. I tried to get it where I shop but they don't carry the Kitchen Bouquet at all. I remember many years ago my parent's use to always have Kitchen Bouquet and used it frequently in making their gravy. It has a nice flavor and a good brown color. It was a little more expensive ordering than buying in the store, but her store was out and mine didn't sell it at all. So it was worth it to me to be able to find something my friend really wanted and used a lot. I was very happy that I could get it for her !

the bottle had already spilled and opened in the bag upon arrival. the product is not eligible for returns. this is a health issue and i don't want to use a product that may have been opened previously (hence the spill - usually these products are sealed for health and safety matters). Buyer be aware and check the return policy rules.

Raised with this brand for gravies, beef soups, etc. Excellent flavor addition.

This is the best browning I've used. Mother in law bought me one 20 yrs ago and I've been using it since , I've had to try other brands when I couldnt find this one and they dont compare to this flavor. I use it for my homemade turkey gravy Mom in law didnt like white gravy and boy did it make my gravy even better I wont make gravy without it. I use it in other things too but homemade trukey gravy can be as light or dark as you like , the flavor is truly awesome. Just a dab will do. Not overwhelming it compliments whatever you use it in. Highly recommend.

I’ve used this product for years & like it. It’s not the product that was bad. The lid was not secure & there was leakage. Makes me apprehensive about using it. Thank goodness it was in a plastic bag.

This is a difficult item to find in grocery stores, and because of the negative reviews of some of the packaging mishaps, I hesitated to order, but took a chance anyway. When there’s a problem you can tell Amazon right away and it will be made right👍 It arrived in a well-sealed plastic bottle, no drips, etc., so I am a happy 😃 customer. I use it mostly for Jamaican Oxtails, but it’s good for an extra visual and taste kick with other meats.

I have been using Kitchen Bouquet since I learned to cook over 50 years ago. My mom used it for years and years as well, but it's next to impossible to find it in grocery stores any longer. It is THE best for braising pork and lamb chops. Besides adding water, I also add some red wine or even some pomegranate syrup. After cooking tougher cuts of meat for an hour or two, some of the water will have evaporated and leaves just a lovely jus. no need for gravy here, though it does make for an excellent gravy base. I can't cook without it!!!
