I find this very convenient for stretching use because it is 6 inches in diameter. The 24 inches I purchased is very suitable for use in the living room. In addition, the material is not too hard and is moderately soft, making it convenient to use.

I bought this roller for my back, as my chiropractor had suggested getting a simple one, so this, being highly rated, was the choice I went with. I am happy with it. it's simple and plain. I opted for the 24" as I didn't need it for much more than rolling my back and my legs. It does provide some really good pain relief, especially for my back. It allows my back to crack, which is such a great relief for me, and rolling it on my legs helps with the tensing of my muscles. I have begun using it to help train for balance and leg strength and it had held up great. The 24" is unfortunately close to being too small for those purposes, but since I know this product can do what I wasn't to with it I will be buying the 36" for those purposes specifically. I do highly recommend this to anyone wanting to try out these for pain relief of for personal training!
