Theres nothing fancy about this set/kit. But it gets the job done. It's as cheap as what comes on a Walmart bike.

My Schwinn Taff was 5yrs old, came with the partial exposed shifter routing and we all know those eventually rust. I saw these when I was upgrading and thought, lets do something different. Easy to use, lots of color choices (I was adding color and went red to match my idea) and plenty of cable, extra pieces and lets not forget the decent price. It arrived quickly, so there was no slow down on my make over and looks great with everything else I replaced. Plus side? No more exposed cables.

Shift cable housing came short in length, shorter than brake cable housing, and not enough for my bike... not sure if it's supposed to be or the pack I got was cut short by mistake

I had to return this only because Amazon sent me another kit because my bike that would purchase for me was missing pieces but if I didn't have to return it it would have worked great and would have been easy to install
