Top quality and a must have for any hawk 250 owners!
Couldnt have been more simple, Remove the sprocket housing cover, use a 10mm socket with an extension to make it easier and remove the two screws holding the sprocket in place. pull the old one out carefully and clean the area while you have it open. then just place the chain on the sprocket and put the new one back onthe same way. all in all took about 15-20 minutes. These particular Jt sprocket are completely compatible with a hawk 250 and other variants of this bike.

Fit the RPS X Hawk 250
Worked great on the RPS X Hawk 250. Bolted right on. did not have to shorten the chain. But you'll have to move the wheel axle almost all the way forward. your top speed will increase to 60 MPH by just changing the front sprocket. Soon I'll change the rear sprocket to a 45 tooth. Than I should be around 70 mph top speed.

Fits on the 2020 TBR7 Works
At first I had issues getting this thing on. I figured out my mess up and it's working great. The TBR7 has issues with the chain being to tight. It's a fact, the 2020 chains are way tight, so find a good HD 428 chain. This sprocket gave me a better cruising speed of about 50 mph or so. It will hit 55 with the 46T on the back but it pushing it. Next upgrade is the carb. If I can get it up to 55 it's all good. This is not a highway bike.

Lowered RPMs
I have a couple Chinese made Motorcycles that use this as a front sprocket. They originally had a 15 and a 16 tooth sprocket on the front, being a lighter rider (under 130 pounds) I don't need all that torque to climb vertical telephone poles the 15t has... and the 16t helped stretching the gears a little bit, but RPMs are still screaming at highway speeds in final gear. Moving from the 16t up to a 17t, I lowered the RPMs about 400 at any given speed. Was also able to get these little 198cc Lifan engines to get upwards of 120 miles per gallon on a few trips after the sprocket change. Carefully check clearances before you go for a ride, some engines have just enough space for the 16t as the largest sprocket.
