Fork Conversion Kits

Works like a charm. Pre-sale support from Joe was stellar. As people sometime say on another site, A++ seller. But I really mean it here--above an beyond.

Got new wheels for a bike with a 3T Luteus II but didn't realize the new standard front axle diameter is now 12mm instead of 15mm. Quick search turned up JJBP Fork Conversions and saw Joe had an option for my fork. Even better, I can now swap my old wheels with road tires (15mm) and my new wheels with 35mm (12mm) without changing forks. It seemed a little pricey at first, but hey Joe saved me a ton of headache and even more money if I had to shell out for a new fork. Parts fit perfect and look great, just as described. Joe even messaged me to confirm what he would send was correct for my fork (he has parts for several forks). Big side benefit is that the nut side stays in the fork when removing the front wheel. What a hassle it was with the 3T quick release skewer where the nut side was loose. Each JJBP insert has an o-ring that helps hold the inserts in place. Just grease them up with a little Phil Wood so they are easy to remove when needed.

There are so many axle available I got confused on which one I needed so I reached out to the seller and He got back to me surprisingly quick with the answer.I had gotten a Lauf fork that had a 15mm axle and I wanted to convert it to a 12mm axle.The 24x24 axle kit worked out perfect!! I almost never leave reviews but this product merits a review. I have a Motobecane gravel bike and wanted to upgrade the wheelset to Specialized carbon wheels for racing. When i bought the wheels, I was totally unaware of different standards, so when I realized that the Specialized wheels were not going to work with my frame, I was incredibly disappointed. I did some research and found the JJBP conversion kits. I contacted Joe on Amazon messaging and he communicated what I needed to check to be sure of the right order in very clear directions with pictures. I had a race coming up and he made sure I got the product on time and it was machined to perfect tolerances. It was a FLAWLESS conversion. I simply could not be happier with the product and transaction. Joe is great to work with.

Since I purchased a few months ago I've ridden my loaded up Cutthroat thru Italy on every surface that the country could throw at us and I've ridden a number of big backcountry rides in my Wyoming homeland as well. It has withstood everything without a glitch. Some have said this and I agree: if only the bicycle industry operated as well as JJP&E. Customer service is excellent and the part is flawless. Side note, the box will have a QR code which will lead you to a youtube video to install. Very simple, very easy.

Joe spend a great deal of time finding out exact dimensions of my fork as I had a generic non-branded Chinese fork and it was all for good. The adapter/axle combo he sent me fit perfectly. Very snug. Thread converter required some force to drive it in to the place which is good as I'm confident it is secure. Non-threaded side adapter has a nice touch of a rubber gasket embedded into it so it too stays nice and snug with no danger of falling out and getting lost. Axle is the perfect length. Overall Joe is a lifesaver. I could not find another product for the life of me to get my wheel mounted on that frame. Well worth the money. Thank you Joe!

Very easy to setup and install only took 5 minutes. It is bike specific. They have several to pick from I have a Trek Domane and the Trek Specific one works perfect. I went from a 15 x 100 mm to 12 x 100mm axle.

Works well, but you will need some threadlock and a pin spanner. The threaded end screws in good and tight though it can unthread when installing the axle, I used a liberal amount of blue threadlock to solve the problem. Two things dropped a star off, the first is that the two holes for the pin spanner on the threaded insert aren't deep enough or big enough. As a bike part they should have made the holes to fit one of the park tool spanners but they aren't that big, they're also shallow enough they started to strip out while I finished the tightening. The second issue is the cost, its a pretty basic system that only commands the price it does because there's no competition that I could find. If it included a QR axle so I didn't need a tool to remove the wheel it'd be worth the price, 100%, bolt on should be twenty less.
