I received it today but the lens is broken
Im surprised that such brand new and expensive camera is broken like this. I tried to turn it on after fully charge battery but its not turned on and the screen is mention “ Lens error 60 camera will shut down automatically” and then the lens got stuck out like that, it doesn’t pull back in. I have contacted amazing to investigate further but unfortunately I have to return this camera as its broken while its brandnew. I hope the store was not intentionally sold this broken camera.

Do not buy from this retailer. I had the camera for 3 weeks and brought it on a trip with me and it does not work. Keeps showing err 70. Was taken to the cannon store at my destination they have to send it to the factory in Singapore which will take a month.

Sono passato direttamente da una G7x ad una mark III ed in effetti la differenza si nota. Ho anche una 7Dii ed una M50 ma le riprese che riesce a fare questa compatta sono veramente molto luminose. Molti Vlogger continuano a mettere in concorrenza la G7 con la M50 ma per la mia esperienza non c'è proprio gara ... tutta la vita la g7xIII. La novità assoluta anche rispetto alla mark II è sicuramente la presa mic sulla camera che permette una migliore registrazione audio, vero unico inconveniente di questa camera fino a questa ultima release, adesso è perfetta. Unico neo si è pensato al jack mic ma non esiste la slitta per agganciare un microfono esterno, poco male perchè si risolve con una staffa acquistabile anche qui su Amazon con pochi euro. Sarebbe stata una attenzione gradita da parte di Canon.
