Review: Endearing and funny - I'd been waiting for a new release from the author since I finished hyperbole and a half, and I was pleasantly surprised this year when I looked it up on desertcart and saw there was a new one, released almost two years ago. I've only finished 2 chapters so far, and I've been enjoying the experience. Book and pages are very high quality, so I don't regret buying the physical book. Review: New Review! Updated. - I have read samples and I loved them, please adjust the price. Its too high for kindle edition and paperback isnt available. No wonder you do not have much reviews from India. EDIT : THEY HEARD MY REQUEST! And I got it. I haven't read it. But I love it. Came in quick and perfect. It's a big a** book. You can probably use it to commit murder. However, I would advise to murder people with laughs.

This book made me feel seen in some ways that I enjoyed and in ways I feel conflicted about. Regardless, it also made me feel less alone.

(Someone has to pick her up after she takes drugs and gets lost on purpose in the middle of the night in a dark forest, after all) Hello there. Hope you're having a great day. By the way, why are you reading this comment, and why am I writing it? We both know you will not find another author like Brosh. Her second book might be less your speed than her first, or more - who cares. If you like Brosh, you can hardly find a subsitute for her anyway, so let's just give up, get the book and enjoy the somewhat-guarded, somewhat self-depreciating, somewhat hilarious, somewhat heartbreaking madness. It does feel like a second book as Brosh now writes and draws about her own funny quirks with the confidence of someone who knows her readers will eat it up, especially when talking about her childhood. When she moves on to difficult topics, however, the tone changes. In those pages, you can feel her efforts to say things without resorting to clichés and you sense a restraint that is not present in the more characterful episodes, as though she is second-guessing herself, careful not to say the easy-but-wrong thing. It does not prevent the story from connecting with the reader - in fact, it is easy see our own hesitations and difficulties in talking about the worst and allowing ourselves to feel it. Brosh stays with the discomfort too, going though it step by step: there is no going back to funny dog stuff as though nothing happened, and we thank here for it. While this book felt less like a complete, unalterable masterpiece for me than the first one did, this is not to say I liked it less. It left me in a more thoughtful state of mind, hoping there will be a next one to see where the author's mind is going.

This little tiny stick doll got me crying as a baby and laughing out loud again. This one isn't as great as the masterpiece of Hyperbole and a Half, but it's amazing in it's own way.

Book delivered on birthday. First birthday after mother died. Read Chapter 10. Losing. Think all the thoughts. Feel all the feels. No sleep. Want to use words. Not enough words. Too many words. Too many feels. Go cemetery. Take daisy chains. Remember. Picture album. Unto dust thy shall return. Mortality bus is real. What now? Don’t know. Not alone in not knowing. Thank you Allie.
