Best bang for your buck

When I get implement like this I submit it to a simple test: Show me something what I cannot see with naked eyes. Normally I focus on licence plates of cars being so far and under such low light conditions that I cannot read the letters or numbers. Optics will passed the test when I can read the plate which I could not read without the optics. This time I concentrated on a house door about 150 yards away. Time was between 9 and 10 PM. There was a lamp above the door but I could not see door knob anyway. So the test would be to see the door knob. I adjusted for distance and immediately could see the door knob. After that I walked view around the door and all of sudden I could see house number. Single digits were attached vertically and parallelly with door longer side. I could read the number quite comfortably, well other than my shaking hands. The house number was invisible without binoculars. This was excellent test of light throughput and magnification and these Leupold binoculars passed it with flying colors. I may buy the binoculars again, if not for me than as a gift for someone else.

Really clear and crisp magnification. These are very sturdy and durable binos for a great price; I have taken these into caves without issue. I wear glasses and found that the eye relief was lacking; I often need to remove my glasses to get the best sight picture.

Binoculars are sensitive to sharp motions as this may cause optical alignment issues. I’ve had this happen in the past where the internal prism moved slightly due to the binoculsrs travelling in my luggage. So this item should have been oackedvwith a layer below and a layer above the item in the box. Instead all the packing was above the internal box. But in spite of this the item arrived undamaged. It is a very nice pair of binoculars at a reasonable price. Highly recommended!! Update 12/26/2022: After gifting item, my son and I realized that there are no independent neck straps for the binoculars. The strap setup included with the binoculars connects to the case in a rather bizzare configuration. Will have to shop for or rig up strap in our own. Probably would not have bought these if I knew this first. Ok another update: After thinking about it tge type of strap includedis good when you are out birding or hunting. The strap keeps the binnoculars at hand but stabilized nicely. I wouls however supplement by purchasing an additional strap. I am please withe t/optics and recommend these for purchase.

Very clear and crisp for the price!

Amazingly good binos for the money. I would definitely recommend. The only down side is the storage case - it’s weird! There are straps everywhere and completely unnecessary.

Excellent glasses with the extra wide view
