This printer-scanner-copier-faxer is outstanding--- USER FRIENDLY
First let me share what I don't like so much: . The LED reading screen doesn't tilt enough to make it convenient to read and the SIZE of it should be LARGER making it truly easy to read. However, it is indeed functional. Fairly simple to figure out. . The paper at 8.5 x 11 is not held 'Securely in place' and thus some of my pages came out mis-aligned or incomplete overlapping onto a second page. (Important to gently hold the paper forward in the tray as you close the paper-tray. HOW what I LIKE or LOVE about this item: . It prints beautifully. It's not FAST, but it does beautiful work . It's VERY EASY to replace or add New Ink Cartidges-- SUPER EASY. (Just do so carefully to align as you do) . It holds quite a bit of paper . First time ever using a Scanner--- worked wonderfully and easy to do between the computer & Printer . Creating Two-Sided copies was also quite easy to do. Just following the LED directions and no problem doing so. (I may make a Video to help people learn how to do this easily) :--)) Overall-- a wonderful printer especially for the price! Worth every penny in my humble opinion or view. Ink-- as always IS EXPENSIVE these days. I think THAT is thee only downside or downfall to Printers across the board. *Cheers mates!* Happy Writing, Printing, Faxing, Scanning and Copying! GO HP! Kindly always, Sir Nicholas

In my life, several things I dislike and that been a one-in-all combination of printer, scanner and copier. I have diligently avoided these types of purchases. But, looking at what I needed and the space I had I took the chance after much research and thought and made this purchase. No software comes in the box and no USB computer printer cable because the objective is that through your network you print, copy, scan and can even store in the cloud. I think software should accompany the product and a USB cable. In the setup you have to go on line and download software and it's kind of easy. However, setup also posts on the screen that some location's access to a network is understandable so if that they should supply a cable. What I did was to use the printer cable from the printer I was replacing and that solved the problem and that printer was a HP printer that I've had for almost 20 years. It is important to know that if you are not able to access a network during installation and a prompt is posted on the screen along with the printer with an IP # What you do is touch the icon saying I don't see my printer listed and then the opportunity to install a non-network connected printer is made available. Options are offered to download software for this, take that option and download all of it and not just basic. Not too pleased with HP smart but I do know the desk top posting of icons for printing and scanning which you really need, you really need... are handy because if you scan, without that, you don't know where your scans are going. propbeably to the cloud or somewhere. I dislike the ink cartrigdes. Too skinny. I did have at this location a HP 6490 and I really like the size of the cartridges and at another location I used a HP 8100 and these cartridges are modeled simlair to that type of printer but very skinny and the most werid way of preparing the cartridge for service, I've seen. If you the printer on the network, you have to have the wifi, mifi turned on. If you don't use the network, then it doesn't matter. My choice, set up for non-network use in case of internet lost fo rsome reason. It is a choice. My postion is tha if I wan to print remotely, I just send it by email and print it from there. Personally, I like the printer. I don't have a document feeder for the scanner so you have to flip pages and using the programHP provides, you can scan several documents, save and lets you name the scanned document. The copier has a document feeder. The printer has a page catch fo rprinted documents. So far so good. A learning curve.

Worst printer experience in 20 years
This is gonna be one of those “if I could give it a MINUS 5 stars, I would” kinda review. I’ve been a professional computer systems reviewer for 20 years, and this is the single most frustrating, time-wasting, money-wasting device I have ever used. This is supposedly an all-in-one printer: It scans, copies, faxes, prints, autofeeds documents, works via Ethernet or dual-band (2.4 and 5 GHz) WiFi from a desktop computer, laptop, phone, web or any other device that will talk to a printer and can be connected. I noticed recently that the price has dropped from $230 to $150. That could be because newer models are available…or it could simply be because HP is trying to unload a really rotten device. Pros of the HP OJ Pro 8020e series You will save trees. The print experience with the HP OJ 8020e is so awful that I go out of my way to avoid printing anything. Literally. Cons (where do I begin…?) Installation is confusing, largely because HP spends quite a bit of time inveigling you into installing its smart printing app that strays dangerously close to malware. Its primary function appears to be talking you into signing up for “Instant Ink,” HP’s ink subscription service that sells you ink whether you want it or not, and then getting you to buy more. It monitors your activity and sends a lot of data back to the HP mothership, and—like most of HP’s “smart” functionality—is a real pain to stop. Installing a wireless smart device should be a no-brainer. Unbox, plug in the printer and power up, select a WiFi network and enter your password, then hit the print button. Ten minutes, max. Not this printer—it took FOUR HOURS of install-test-reinstall before it could print its first page. Even then, I would up sending the document to my Android phone and printing from there. The Ethernet connection was equally stubborn. I wound up resetting the printer six times until it could find the WiFi network. Along the way, I accidentally activated HP’s ink subscription program, which has caused even more headaches. Even than, the only way I can guarantee a print or scan is to shut down the printer, shut down my computer, and then restart. That gives me ONE immediate session to print or scan as much as possible before it goes offline again. If it actually does work, the print/scan is high-quality, but after six months with this foul beast I’ve never managed to get actual output in less than an hour. If you work from home (as many of us do these days), beware your company’s VPN: The HP apps will be shut out, and the printer won’t work. It also doesn’t seem to like Microsoft Teams. Best to save your printing until day’s end, then restart everything, do your print, and retire for the night. HP advertises its “six months of free ink,” but read the fine print before you sign up, and be very careful: Once the printer/your network thinks you’ve agreed to accept that free prize, you’ll be forced to use HP’s ink cartridges—at 2X the price—forever. Some HP printers allow you to disable “cartridge protection,” which allows the printer to reject any non-HP ink cartridge and simply refuse to print. The 8020e, and all “e-series” printers, however, do not, a practice I thought had been made illegal in the US, but apparently not. So, in addition to a poorly functioning printer, you’ll also be stuck spending $90 on a set of HP ink cartridges instead of $45. Now, I've nothing against HP ink, and I typically prefer to buy the printer manufacturer's own ink just to avoid hassles. But I don't want to be forced into it, and I also don't want to be forced to purchase more ink than I actually need, given how little I print these days. Supposedly you can rub an electrostatic rubber thingee across an ink cartridge’s microchip to get it to work…but that hasn’t worked for me. At this point, I'm looking for a cheap, non-HP printer that does NOT lock you into a bogus ink program and doesn't require hours of frustration just to get the WiFi actually connecting. I wish to blazes I hadn't given my old Epson printer away.

I bought the HP OfficeJet Pro 8025e All-in-One Wireless Color Printer for our home office to replace a laser printer from a different make which I hated! The HP is great and very easy to set up with the HP app and I am very happy with the print quality. One thing that I love about HP printers is that they work great with any computer system. In our house we use, Windows, Mac and Linux computers for various tasks, and there are no issues with the drivers or features on the printer. I did not opt for the "ink Subscription" as I don't like such supscriptions packages, but the ink cartridges are readily available all over the place. The scanner is practible and it is great to be able to scan a stack of paper with the auto-feed tray on the printer. All in all I am very pleased with this printer and can highly recommend it for any home/office application.

Sooooo happy with my new printer. It works very well. The installation was easy and quick as it comes with a user manual. Just follow the instructions and you are set in less than 10 minutes. This printer comes with free ink. Also, once you sign up and follow the instructions of the app, they will send you a new set of ink too. So far, no issues with connectivity. I was able to print using my laptop, phone and iPad. Grab yours now!! 👌🏻👍🏻

This printer works well, print, scan, all like it should. I am pleased with the quality of the product. I am pleased with the HP App, that works well on the computer or mobile device. The only issue I have, no USB port on the printer as seen in the marketing picture. I am dissapointed because this is an option that I often use. Is it enough for me to return the printer in this cloud world? I have not decided yet. If the USB option is not required by you, this is a good printer.

This printer is ok, cheap and not bad to use. It seemed like a good buy. However the way HP runs the scheme to provide ink is dubious and I think its a lawsuit waiting to happen. But it won't be from me, I'm just getting a different printer. The ink the printer comes with, you know, the ink you use when you spend $200+ on a printer and expect to work once you put it into the machine. Those are Instant Ink cartridges, HPs program to send you 'cheap' ink mailed to your home on a subscription service. Sounds strange but ok. the printer comes with 2 months of free Instant ink. That means IF you want to use the ink the COMES IN THE BOX of this printer, then you need enroll and set up a payment plan with HP's instant ink program. I did it because I thought I would be able to unenroll if I wanted when the 2 months were up. You register the printer as you would for warranty etc. and it tracks your printer, how many copies you print etc. and then sends you ink that it charges you for at about $10.00 a month after taxes to keep your printer ink going. If you don't print, you still pay your monthly fees. After a few months I decided I didn't want to use the program anymore and cancelled the program. Once I cancelled my printer which had cartridges FULL of ink. Stopped working. The error message. You need to be enrolled to use these ink cartridges. Never in my life would I ever think a printer company would remotely be allowed to shut off my printer from working because I am not on a monthly subscription service with them. They expect that you RETURN the ink cartridges they sent you and NOT ONLY charge you for the 2 months of supposed 'free ink' but also require that you use NON-instant ink cartridges to use your printer off of the program. HP has strangled the ink market for their printers so they you either are paying $70.00 per colour of ink with NON-instant ink cartridges or $10.00 a month in perpetutity to use your printer in your own home. Disgusting doesn't begin to cover it. I am finding a way to return it, or finding a way to hack through their online link so I can use the ink cartridges. That and get a better printer. Until this changes I recommned you the person shopping for a new printer NOT BUY a modern or like recent HP printer unless you are ok with this program.
