Is this safe for extensions?

I assume the New Wash Rich formula is safe to use on extensions. It truly is a holy grail shampoo and conditioner in one!!! I never thought this product would make my hair so soft and healthy, but it's never looked so great!!! A miracle product that is worth every cent!!!

Question 2

Is anyone noticing hair loss with this product? I love it, but I'm a little worried about the hair loss, which is lot more than usual.

Experiencing shedding hair or breakage is not normal with New Wash. There are no ingredients, like silicone, in New Wash that would cause hair loss.

New Wash allows many to go longer between washes. So when people do wash, they notice more hair in the drain after washing. We naturally shed hair constantly but we usually only notice when we shower. When you go longer between washing, the accumulation of shed hair that you rinse out is increased.
 
People tend to scrub their hair more with New Wash too, which may result in more hair shedding. Try combing or brushing hair before getting it wet (try not to brush wet hair - wet hair is more fragile and easier to break). And use a silicone scalp massager (like our Scalp Massage Brush) to work New Wash in. The Brush is great at distributing, massaging, and rinsing New Wash without tugging on wet hair too much.

why does it contain Dimethylamine?

Hi there, it is a moisturizing surfactant. It can adsorb on hair (never penetrating or bounding chemically) defining its moisturizing properties. It's long chain and the light amphiphilicity characteristics allow our proprietary mix of non detergent surfactants to remove any excess of it. Silicone does cause build up, Stearamidopropyl Dimethylamine does not.

Can i buy with out scalp scrub brush?

Yes! You can buy directly from Hairstory with or without the brush. I use my fingertips and rub hard for 60 seconds (a long time--count it out!) and that works fine, no plastic needed.
