Use these transistor to make repairs on CB radios, also make crystal radios for kids interested in how they work, These doides are getting hard to find. Amazon has a good choice and collection.

Great product
Worked perfectly for my hand wired keyboard. It might be easier if they were all mounted to a strip to assist with tinning and installing in correct orientation.

Worth it for the containers
Like many others, I bought this kit because of the containers. I already had another kit of electronic components, but I decided to buy this one to make it easier to organize diodes. The kit is organized in a way that makes finding specific components easy. The box arrived in perfect shape and all the diodes were in their corresponding compartments (some reviewers complain about this, but all the kits I have bought from EEEEE have arrived in perfect shape for me). The diodes themselves look OK although I don’t have an easy way to test their characteristics other than their voltage drop, which seems to be according to specifications from known fabricators. This kit does not include data sheets, which is typical for these cheap assortments. One con: The 1N4184 rectifiers were instead labeled as ST4184, which seems to be an equivalent model but I wasn’t able to find specs online. This may or may not be an issue. I’m removing one star for the misleading product documentation, although probably the model they included is OK, I was not able to find information about it online. The kit includes the most common types of diodes: rectifiers, switching (only one type), fast recovery, Schottky and two values for Zeners. I use them mainly for learning electronics and building some simple circuits. For experimentation, learning and fixing non expensive devices, these diodes are perfect, and the containers make all the difference.
