G4Free 40L Rucksack Foldable Hiking Backpack

I don’t like zip top rucksacks as they have to be packed and unpacked horizontally like a suitcase and can be a nuisance to open and close when on the move as my stuff falls out when you unzip them. I prefer this vertical bucket style rucksack with a drawstring closure, flip top lid and fewer useless pockets. This allows my clothing, laptop and books to be stacked vertically which is more stable and prevents crushed and wrinkled clothes and offers quick and easier access when on a plane, car, bus, lecture room, shopping or campsite. The rucksack is lightweight, is made from hard wearing tough woven material, has an internal and external zipped lid pocket for valuables and a large internal pocket for a lap top or a water bag. The large zipped outside front pocket is handy for notepads and maps while the two large side pockets can easily accommodate my 0.75L water bottles. The straps are wide, slightly padded and provide all day comfort even with a full pack. Please note there is an error when ordering which says it’s a 20L sack, ignore it as you will receive the 40L sack. Overall very pleased with my purchase.

These are great. Lightweight, sturdy, fab colour choices and can pack a bundle. Good amount of pockets and compartments.

Lightweight and strong rucksack, good capacity and ideal for weekend trips

In last four years, I purchased four of these backpacks in different colours, never disappointed me! Liked the two colours specially- Gray Green and Turquoise. Top quality backpack, highly recommended. Only gripe is the quality of the nets for holding water bottles, could have been stronger and deeper (to holder bigger bottles).

This is a great daily use bag for carrying bulky but not too heavy items. I always take this on holiday as my personal item and it packs away to something small and flat. Put a rubble sack in to use as a liner and it keeps everything inside dry even if the rain soaks through. This is the fourth bag I’ve bought over the years. The others having either been lost or donated and still going strong. The top compartment is great for keys and easy to access. The pocket on the underside is good for storing small stuff you need to keep more secure. The main compartment holds everything else. The flat pocket in the main compartment probably can be used to hold a water bladder or iPad but as the whole bag has no structure, I prefer to put a half folded sit pad in there to act as cushioning to stop hard things in the pack prodding me, and I can take out and use the sit pad when needed.

This is my second rucksack I have had. I think my last one lasted over 10 years so I'm hoping this does aswell. It seems to be of a good quality and has lots of space. I have yet to test in the rain but it feels like it had a very good waterproofing.

Good size backpack for my son's camping weekend. Fitted sleeping bag inside with room for clothing and attached the mat on straps. Folds up inside it's self so not bulky for storage.

It's fine, it can hold a sleeping bag, camping mat and a few more items. However, it didn't have as many pockets as I would have liked. Just one at the back of the bag and one at the front. I used it during work while I was outdoors and it is water repellent. It's a fine bag if you're looking for something cheap and is basic
