Takeya Patented Deluxe Cold Brew Coffee Maker With White Lid Airtight Pitcher, 2 Quart, White

I have been using my French press to make cold brew but decided to go with a dedicated cold brew method and container. I decided on this product because I have been a big fan of Takeya tumblers for several years. The name has been synonymous with quality and durability. I typically only use glass but the glass version is much more than I wanted to spend but this Tritan plastic version is very affordable and works the same. The recipe and instructions are included and it's extremely simple and was to use. The fine mesh filter is great because I prefer a less coarse grind and this does not allow for the fine grains to pass through, resulting in a very clean pitcher of cold brew. I love the aesthetics and design but it's very tall, making it hard to fit in my refrigerator configuration. I had to adjust the shelf to accommodate the height but other than that, I'm very happy with this product.

O produto é bom, exatamente como no anúncio. Tem ótima vedação, o plástico e a "peneira" são de qualidade. Infelizmente uso muito menos do que planejei, acho que como brasileira acabei achando meio aguado. Fiz com café moído na hora, talvez com pó fique mais concentrado, pra quem usa acho que vale testar. Talvez para chá seja bom também, ainda não testei.

Não é tão prático quanto querem fazer parecer. O Café, na maioria das vezes, não mistura direito e o filtro não é bom o suficiente de forma que se perde uma quantidade considerável de café.

Good aesthetic and build quality except for tight threads on the filter end of the extension piece. The clear canister is sturdy by flexibility. It's not round at its base but oval, narrow on the sides. I'm not sure if it's supposed to be. I use the 24 hour refrigerator brewing method. Great results with flavored grounds. Finely ground coffee gives thicker texture. Would buy again.

Upon first inspection out of the box, I didn’t think I would keep it. It has a bit of a plastic smell and the mesh filter is plastic and looks flimsy. I washed it and let it air out for 2 days and haven’t looked back. Best $20 ever spent. Saved me a tons from hitting Starbucks. The cons? I find myself consuming more caffeine daily. Oh and the larger size is too large for single person home.
