Silicone sleeve is glued to the bottle making it difficult to clean. When they're drying some water stays stuck under the bottle between the base and the sleeve. Makes a mess. Took them off with a knife and found the they work really well. Besides the sleeve being a problem they work well and are easy to assemble.

As advertised, do not leak if everything g is aligned and fully connected (as I have overlooked small things-had it leak), love the sleeve, and baby loves the nipple type.

I am a FTM who had a lot of trial and error with testing bottles with my baby, especially since he had trouble latching. Unfortunately I could not continue to BF, but I would say that he developed a love for Dr.Browns bottles. It’s only recently that I invested in some of the wide ones, and he uses those, the narrow, and lansinoh bottles really well, with silent reflux. They came packaged securely, with no damage. See pictures for reference upon unboxing. My son is now 5 months and takes between 6-7 oz so it was time to upgrade from 4/5 oz bottles, I had tried a 5oz wide and he liked it, so I purchased 2 plastic 9 oz bottles and then saw these on a slight sale and based on research, glass is better for him! 9 oz is perfect for both small and large amounts, the glass is not too heavy but noticeably sturdier than the plastic and don’t run the risk of getting cloudy the way plastics can after being run through a bottle washer or the bottle washer often. I personally have not experienced leakage with these or any Dr browns bottles with exception of when mixing and the cap not being on tight enough. While there is a lot of parts and that can be cumbersome, I have noticed my baby has less gas retained whether it comes out the top or the bottom end, and considering he has medical diagnoses related to his gut, that’s a plus for me. The design is sleek, Dr. Browns bottles look great already and are very clear with the ounces super visible to manage a feed. The functionality of these bottles, for my household personally, has saved us a lot of grief and given me a bottle type my baby enjoys whether narrow or wide, but I’d say the wide definitely more mimics an actual nipple so would likely be good for babies with gut or reflux/gas issues, that combo feed, or are being transitioned from the breast for whatever reason. I’d say my household has become mostly a Dr.Browns household at this point, and considering I’m now investing in glass, hopefully when I have a second child they will work just as great for them! I recommend these bottles, and the narrow ones, whether glass or plastic (plastic is more budget friendly but also less likely to last and safer health wise for baby although I am not opposed to plastic bottle feeding. I’d say these are an investment, and suggest to also purchase silicone sleeves for protection and easy handling for you and baby as they get older! I also recommend Dr.Browns pacifiers, their pitcher, and would note that they have conversion kits for sippies and straws when baby transitions. 👍🏽 Hope my review is helpful for other moms out there looking for a good fit when it comes to bottles, especially glass.
