Great lens for short zooms. It's light and great bang for the buck. My other one decided to quit working while on a cruise. This is my everyday lens when I'm taking pics of the birds and squirrels feeding.

I dropped my camera and it landed on the lens and did something to the auto focus. I ordered a replacement from Amazon and it works great. I wasn't sure if it was the lens or something in the camera that didn't work at times but after putting on the new lens it works great and it focus's every time.
