Original review: Finally got around to opening the package and mixing the dye, and unfortunately instead of purple, the bottle contained orange dye instead. I think I'll just stick with genuine Caswell dyes from now on. Edit - This was my fault for not being thorough, and I've revised my rating accordingly. The dye is bright orange when mixed in water, but anodized parts do in fact come out in a nice shade of purple. My apologies to the seller (and thank you for reaching out to correct a non-existent problem that was my own fault), and I recommend this product for purple-izing your anodized parts.

This dye works very well. Anodized a few parts with this and it absorbs very well in a short period of time. This worked better than more expensive dyes that I’ve used from other suppliers. Haven’t tried any other colours yet.

The color is orange. It didn’t work at all for me. Used distilled water even though it stayed just white. Please help me. What am I doing wrong?

Ph the water before adding dye and heat to the high end. Great result. More pink the first time I added a tiny bit of the Aqua color and a deep violet- magenta came out.

One thing to mention is that the bottles only have about 2 table spoons of pigment. But trust me thats enough. The black is the only bottle that is full to the top with pigment powder. I tried it out and the color is stunning. Excellent customer service. Will buy again.
