As another reviewer commented, these are marginal at best. 5 or 6 cracked almost instantly the moment I tried to put them on. The largest one for my thumb I actually had to heat up to make it larger. I ordered these as I was out of town and left my actual Alaska picks at home, but these have been not up to par, unfortunately.

these are recommended for kalimba (even has a photo of one in the product description.). but none of them will comfortably fit a human thumb and even when putting them on an index finger they break. the plastic is way too hard and brittle. they don’t break while playing, they break just putting them on.

I made the mistake of thinking that an off brand would work. The photos show where the breaks are. They are where the pieces were attached in production. One photo shows the where one pick broke as I attempted to trim the top part, which is completely normal as anyone who has used these picks knows that they ALWAYS need to be trimmed before they can be used. The other picture shows where another pick just broke as I was attempting to just put it on my finger. I should have applied the adage "you get what you pay for". These are not actual Alaska picks. I just went ahead and ordered genuine Alaska picks from a guitar string vender.
