I debated between the tempurpedic and the viscosoft topper. Decided to go with the viscosoft because the price is significantly less. The topper immediately expanded with no issues and was basically ready to use within a hour of taking it out of the box, there was off gassing and the typical mattress smell for the first 24-48 hours. I put it on a new memory foam mattress that was just too firm. The viscosoft topper has been so comfortable, I literally don't want to get out of bed. I myself only weigh 92 lbs and my significant other is 220 lbs. It's very hard for us to come to agreement on a mattress or topper as everything for me is not soft enough and everything to him is too soft and he sinks in. I can happily report that he loves this topper just as much as I do! Even though I don't weigh much I still feel my body sinking in just enough to be comfortable and supportive. I no longer wake up feeling sore and am getting much better sleep. I placed a cooling mattress protector over it and it seems okay, not overly hot. Because of how soft/plush the foam is I am concerned about how long it will last. With blankets, sheets, mattress protector, and the topper cover on the memory foam I still have concern that my pets jumping on and off the bed could rip or tear the foam. Time will tell how long it lasts.

I spent 1.5 hours bouncing between AI and Amazon to find the best mattress topper for my weight and sleep style (male, 6’1”, 212lbs, side sleeper) to help address lower back pain. After much comparison, I ended up going with the 3” Viscosoft. At first, I was reserved about spending so much on a topper, but the very first night changed everything. The topper was easy to take out of the box, easy to inflate, and easy to put on my king size medium firm mattress from Ikea. It has straps on all 4 corners that hold it in place, and my sheets went right over everything. Once setup, I left it alone until bedtime to let it settle, but first use…wow! I had an amazing night’s sleep, day one! I didn’t believe any of the marketing, but it really does disburse your weight and alleviate pressure areas, especially as a side sleeper. I opted for the 3” instead of the 4” because AI explained the differences based on my sleep style, and it was definitely the right call. I can keep rambling on about this topper, but I’ll summarize that this mattress topper is well worth the added cost compared to the more affordable ones on the market. The results showed me that you certainly get what you pay for, so don’t skimp to get a “cheap” topper. This Viscosoft should be your first option,

I really wanted to wait a little while before reviewing because I have been very disappointed by almost all mattress toppers in the past once the 60 to 90 day Mark hits. I've only had this for a couple of weeks but so far it is working well. My husband and I are both very overweight and I am getting some better sleep in general and not waking up quite as achy. So far the only negative thing that I have seen is that it does come with straps to fit onto the mattress but even with that it has slid down. Now that hasn't been a bad thing because it actually created a little divot for the pillows and now we're actually laying pretty even so I'm not sure if that's really a bad thing. But sliding is not something that you necessarily want either right? I may update this as time progresses to see really and truly how long it lasts. One comment I see on a lot of reviews is if somebody was thinking in to the topper or not and in my experience if I can sink into it I tend not to roll over and move throughout the night and get a more peaceful sleep and I do not sink in on this one but like I said I haven't woken up with a sore back or hips since getting it but the jury is out on how long it really lasts

Brand new bed ended up being too firm....woke up with sore, stiff back. Tried MANY toppers before investing in this one. It was immediate HEAVEN! If only it lasted longer. I would be totally okay with replacing every 2 years, but once a year at $200 is a bit much. Just ordered the Pure Green Natural Latex topper (more expensive, but supposed to have a much longer life). It comes on Friday... praying it offers as much comfort as this one did. If it doesn't, I guess I will be resigned to buying this one again....yearly....I have to sleep, right?
