I have wanted this teapot for a while and received it as a Christmas gift. It is truly beautiful and well made. It is ceramic and electric which makes it pretty and easy to use. The ceramic is a beautiful mint/light teal. The base and cord are white with gold trim. The cord is somewhat stiff but I'm hoping it softens with use. Be sure to follow instructions about not letting it run too low of water. The lid is a bit tricky to figure out at first. But is also well made to ensure that it doesn't fall off when pouring. I highly recommend this to upscale your daily cuppa.

AVOID I loved the design: the clean surface of the ceramic kettle - although it was a little heavy. Had it for 18 months and it stopped working. The materials used at the electrical base and connection could not withstand the heat of the electrical current and the metal warped and lost connection and the plastic melted and further corroded the connection. Very disappointing. It's a great, durable ceramic kettle on a lousy-cheap electrical base. I tried contacting the manufacturer directly at [email protected], -no response.

I loved this so much a bought another for a friend who loved it. Two problems: the turn-on lever quit working and my husband had to take it apart. It still doesn’t work consistently. Secondly, the lid heats up as well and the knob on top is hard to touch to keep the lid from falling off without using a pot holder. I am going to crochet a little hat for the lid knob that I can leave in place.

This product is perfect in every way ! It heats fast, auto shut off when all heated, color and quality of piece is impeccable ! Easy to use. Only thing is the cord should be longer, a bit too short. Classy piece and perfect for tea!

Although this little kettle looks quite good, there are some design issues that come along with it. The MAX water line is too high, and the kettle will burp and boil over. Also, the lid has no seal and is a loose fit, so when you're boiling the MAX level, it will sputter out of the top. There's also a risk of the lid falling off and breaking when you are pouring your hot water, and a significant risk of hot water spilling out of the top opening with this loose lid issue. A liability for sure. A rubber/silicone seal for the lid, like the more expensive kettles have would solve those problems. Then I would give it 5 stars. Right now, it's a low 3, and all of that is for the aesthetic of the design alone. Adorable to look at on your counter top, but not as well engineered as it should be for its purpose.

Good size for making 4+ servings of tea. Looks great on the countertop. Spout tends to dribble when finishing a pour. Lid feels a little loose when pouring - compared to competition kettles. Much more reasonable price compared to the previous competitions kettles.

***Changed this review to 5 stars for outstanding customer service*** I contacted the company to tell them the tea pot had broken and they offered to replace it, no questions asked. It came in about a week. I'm really excited to find a company that stands behind their product. I would buy from them again. Original Review Below: Loved this right up until it died 1 year to the day we bought it. I had a different brand similar to this that lasted a decade. Disappointed.

This is the 2nd one I have bought in the year and both broke. Not worth it because it doesn’t last more than 6 months, beautiful yes, but will only last less than 6 months

La tetera está muy bonita pero no venía con la base para poder usarla así que la tuve que regresar.
