Very easy to use and feels solid.
This is a very robust and well built tool for depressing the brake pedal. Used this when I was bleeding my brake lines as part of a one-man process. Very intuitive design and did the job well.

Simple and so needed!
This is a great tool. Can be used for throttle or brake pedal. I've used for both. It's not made to take abuse, so don't crank on it. Well worth the price for the garage/shop.

Good product works well
Some pedal depressors don't work because they are too short or too flimsy. This one works well. It is rigid, long, and easily adjustable.

Better than Buddy
This tool has been fantastic for my DIY car repair attempts and servicing. Since new cars don’t have throttle cables to grab under the hood anymore or put lock pliers on to hold high rpm… I bought this tool. Bricks and sticks weren’t holding steady rpm’s so, asking my buddy or wife to hold 2500 rpm was aggravating everyone and the situation so this was money well spent. Now I put it in place initially with the slide clamp then fine tune the desired rpm and it holds nice and steady. No cussing required. The wife stays nice and calm, my buddy isn’t scared to come over and hang out and no more feeling bad about what my mouth said. Multiple uses and no problem noted. It is well built and the plastic knob etc hasn’t deteriorated. Get one, especially if you are needing to hold steady rpm’s for troubleshooting and servicing.

Heavy Duty, well made. Follow advice not to flip it to extend or the end will fly off!
I used this pedal prop to replace the front brake lines on my 2012 Jeep JK. As per the factory service manual it says to use a prop on the brake pedal, to hold it past the 1st one inch of travel. This will isolate the master cylinder, so that when you disconnect the flexible brake line you won't drain the entire master cylinder. It worked great, saved me a lot of brake fluid and mess. I also used FIRSTINFO brake line clamp to stop the flow from the hard line once the flex line was removed. I purchased those on Amazon as well. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0169LYNLA/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o09_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 A soft rubber plug for the brake caliper when you remove the Banjo Bolt will save fluid as well. I would recommend this item. The yellow end is held on via an O ring. Some didn't like that. Didn't bother me at all.

Nice domestic made product, very sturdy and well thought out.
I don't see how it's flimsy at all. On the contrary, it's quite substantial and will work as a throttle pedal positioner as well as a brake pedal depressor when changing brake fluid, so it serves 2 purposes with one tool and unlike the other commenters state, it's not flimsy at all. In fact it's very substantial and the rods are very rigid and the top (steering wheel) adjustment clamp is easy to use and position. I recommend it for changing brake fluid as well as a throttle pedal hold down - positioner.

This is great for bleeding coolant systems and for diagnosing noises or anything else that needs a specific RPM. Slightly turning the knob increases or decreases the RPM to what you want. Assembles in 2 oeices that screw together and are secure.
