Honestly the best $60 I've ever spent. It'll pay off immediately in terms of the time you save. I use this to put my phone in (sometimes for hours at at time when I need to get a project completed, at other times for a week when I want to disconnect on vacation and be more present / less distracted). It's an absolute godsend. Our smartphones -- useful as they are -- can also be a massive distraction and are designed to be so. Some people have said that the fact one needs such an item reflects a lack of self-discipline. Not so -- it reflects the ultimate discipline and allows me to instead focus on the things that really matter. The build quality is solid and the lack of bypass is a big big feature. One thing to note is that it just about fits my iPhone mini in it, so if you have a larger iPhone then you should consider buying the larger version. Its a small investment that will pay enourmous dividends.

Love the product! I have ADHD, and this locking container has been a game changer for me. It helps me stay away from my phone and actually focus on other activities. I really appreciate that once you lock items inside, you can’t remove them until the timer is up. I’d say it is one of the best products I’ve purchased on Amazon! Highly recommend it!

Got this safe so I don’t let my phone distract me for a few hours and it works great when I do use it. It’s locked and I forget about my phone. I do think this item is pricy but it’s helping with my phone addiction so it’s been worth the price. I love the locking sound. Only think I wish is that it was made from a sturdier material, if I drop this I feel like It will break so I’ve been very careful with it. Overall great for helping you get away from your phone if you are addicted to it like me.

I almost never write reviews. But I can say without a doubt that with the aid of this device I was able to break a prescription dextroamphetamine habit. I always binged on it on the weekends and felt like a failure every time afterwards. I purchased this thinking that the idea behind it was ingenious. I had enough foresight to put aside a gradually decreasing amount of dextroamphetamine every week for my weekend binges and locked the rest away. I decreased the amount from 10 10-milligram tabs gradually by 1/2 a tab every week and gradually got down all the way a 1/2 tab about 2 months ago and ever since then I've been meth-free for about 2 months now. Of course it's easy to break into the device if you're motivated enough, which I did once but only once. This device won't give you willpower to avoid breaking into it or to have the foresight to only set aside a certain amount of a drug every week (or most importantly to stop getting refills of a drug that you have a valid prescription for) but if you supply the willpower to do those things you can succeed in breaking a habit. I'm glad I managed to break my habit before it did any lasting damage (I was only addicted for about a year). If you are thinking about getting this device for a similar reason, don't hesitate to buy it. It doesn't hurt to try, and if you're motivated enough you will succeed as well.

The product has worked great. Has it helped me stay away from products I didn't want to use? NO. In fact, I learned that if I put an object into this case that I have not mentally "separated" from--then the case is just infuriating, and I resolve to never use it for that object. I put a "forbidden" item into this, but all it did was make me obsess about it. You have to be ready to part with the thing that is consuming you--in which case, once you are at that point--you should be able to remove it from your life without needing this!

I find at times my iPhone is too tempting to access, and I end up wasting time staring at IG and Twitter and stuff. I decided to buy one of these to put it in, just so I can have a few hours, or even days, where I know my iPhone will be impossible to access. This thing is perfectly built. It's IMPOSSIBLE to open while you have it locked (No, it won't open even when batteries are removed, you'd have to try to smash it to open it, but it's still pretty tough). By the way, for sizing questions, I bought the XL and it's way bigger than my iPhone. It's about a foot tall, and half a foot wide. Will easily fit phone. I hope they make one for Mac Books, so I can lock my electronics away for long periods of time and get the mental relief of knowing checking the internet isn't an option. Either way, excellent product, I highly recommend it.

I bought this to prevent night snacking by locking my fridge then putting the keys in this container. The idea is good but the quality is far below what it should be given the price. I bought one and while washing it one day, the plastic container just started cracking. After a short time, it broke at the cracks and was a gonner. This was only 2 months into owning it. I asked about a warranty but they said they don't cover the container since people break into them. I still needed this item so i purchased a replacement container. I got it about 2 weeks ago and with very little use it is cracking again!! I just noticed crack lines forming on the bottom. I have NO idea when or how it happened, it has barely moved from the counter. The only thing I can think of is maybe the container stretched slightly when the lid lock engaged if it was ever off kilter. I can't believe how poor quality these are. I've spent over $100 for 2 broken containers and one lid.

This thing is serious and works if you need to keep something away from yourself. I love the mechanism - you literally can’t get it unless you break it! Helped with my gardening tendencies lol

This is waaayyy better quality than the other one I bought. I couldn't break into this one without completely destroying it. Its easy to set the timer and if you overshoot your desired time then you just twist the knob to reverse.

Fun and easy to use. Another great invention that I saw on shark tank, it's really helping me to cut down on smoking and drinking.

it’s the only box with that function that I found and I love it! Can just put my phone/cigarettes in there and be sure I can’t get them out. Price being high also makes sense because it hurts more to destroy the box, so you don’t do it! Worth every cent
