I bought this pan to test out the Hestan product before getting a whole set. The pan cooks amazing! I am not a chef and I only cooked eggs and steak in it. The eggs did not stick which was what I was going for. I will definitely be buying more Hestan products.

This pan was on sale for $110, but I was sent the 8.5" pan. The only recourse is to get a refund from Amazon, because they won't send me the correct size. I contacted the Hestan company and they said that my only path is through Amazon. My wife said to keep it and she will use it. She used it this morning for the first time for her usual egg-spinach scramble and it was barely large enough to hold the food, and the bottom and sides were coated with stuck on food. She wants to keep using it because she feels safer using this pan than the cheap Chinese Carote pans. I only use cast iron and carbon steel pans, but she needs pans that she can't ruin when I turn my back. Yes, I know that stainless steel pans are non-stick when used with proper heat control and amount of oil, but that's just not her. At least with this pan the food comes off easily when washed. If the 11" or larger pan goes on sale I'll buy it then. It gets 1 star because I'm so incredibly annoyed at receiving the smaller pan.

Surface is very durable and is the easiest to clean. I tried out the small pan first purchased from a local store and using it for eggs convinced me to purchase the larger pan.

This was the most expensive piece of cookware I have ever purchased. And to be honest, the amount of oil or butter I have to use to make it "non stick" is just as much as any other pan. I am very disappointed that it is truly NOT "non stick". I cook ribeye "bites" each evening and they stick no matter how much avocado oil I put in the pan. Going back to the cast iron where I get a bit of a sear and the meat releases to turn. I am broken hearted that I spent this much of my hard earned money.
