Juven Therapeutic Nutrition Drink Mix Powder for Wound Healing Support, Includes Collagen Protein, Fruit Punch, 1.01 Ounce (Pack of 30)

I had surgery in July 2025. A few weeks later we noticed a small area was closed but the ‘bed’ (my doctor’s term for the bottom layers of the skin) was not healing. We tried different methods to promote the healing of that area to no avail including a wet to dry bandage. In September we decided to do a debridement. After the debridement, it looked as if it was healing well. Approximately three weeks later, it became infected on the inside which caused it to reopen. I then went to a wound care clinic. This clinic is part of a major, well known, top rated, specialty hospital that works with high risk patients of which I am a patient. They had me pack the wound with medicated gauze every other day. They also suggested that I drink two packets of Juven daily and eat lots of protein. It has been one month, the wound is now healed. Each staff member who examined me during my visits was convinced that the Juven played a major part of the healing. The difference between my first and second visit was clearly visible and it improved from week to week. They suggested that I continue it for two more weeks but I have been cleared to continue further treatments. I bought the fruit punch flavor and mixed it with 8 ounces water. The taste was fine for me. I drank it without food, between breakfast and lunch and then between dinner and bedtime. If I have another surgery, my intention will be to use Juven to help the healing process. Pricey? Yes. But we are all worth every penny. Mix the unflavored version of Juven with any heated broth and drink (my favorite is beef broth). It tastes fine. I had 3 major surgeries (including open heart ) within a year and have healed completely. I agree it’s expensive, but wound care needs as much attention as possible. I trust wound care to #1 God, #2 my doctor & #3 Juven. The hospital nutritionist will give it to you for free daily if you ask your doctor to prescribe it.

This just made a huge price jump across all platforms, but I can speak from personal and professional experience when I say that this product, taken twice per day, makes wounds heal faster. I personally prefer the unflavored version, fruit punch is my next favorite, orange is my third. I'm a nurse and use this for my patients with significant wounds to improve their rate of healing and I haven't had it let me down once. My patients don't mind the taste and tolerate it well. If you are struggling with a slow healing wound, this is WELL WORTH the cost.

This stuff does so much more than wound-care. I've only been on it a few days but in that short amount of time I can already tell that it has helped my circulation. In particular I feel like it's helped the blood flow to my feet. I have an ulcer on my big toe that I've been dealing with for months which is what prompted me to order. I also feel like it has incredibly increased my energy; I no longer get that afternoon fatigue. I also feel like it has hydrated my eyes and my skin also looks more plump. I've only been able to take it once a day because anything more than that makes me jittery. Probably due to the vitamin B. The packets are also very large and I noticed that most of the posters do not mention this. Be prepared it's a very large packet, you can almost use half a packet a day if you wanted to cut cost. I really don't see how people drink two packets a day? But then again I'm small petite so that may be why. Vitamin B affects me and if you're sensitive to it I would not recommend taking two a day. If you want to dose two, take them early in the day otherwise they will keep you up at night. I've also noticed an increase in my mood not feeling quite so anxious. And lastly I feel like it might be helping my metabolism. I don't feel quite so hungry like I used to. I don't think it suppresses appetite, I think it just stabilizes the metabolism. So far, this has been an outstanding product. Yes it's expensive but the size of the packet makes it affordable. If you're on the fence about trying this, I would highly recommend it. The tropical punch is very good. I haven't tried the orange yet but I intend on trying it since I purchased the variety formula. Great product Ensure!!!
