Q: When it say 290 ft - 328 ft, does it mean you can not go below 290 ft and go beyond 328 ft?

We have used the mics on the same table as the receiver. We have also used them at about 300 feet. This means that [290 ft - 328 ft] could mean [up to 290 to 328 ft].

Q: Is the 1/4 output mic level or line level? Does it need a mic preamp to connect to line in directly (or it has to connect to mic input)? Thanks!

Hi, thanks for asking. Yes you can connect the system to mic level input using the 1/4-inch cable included in the package. You can also connect the system to the XLR input using XLR cable ( not included). The active speaker you sent over will definitely fit your need. Thank you.

Hi, thanks for you interest in Phenyx Pro. If you want to use the PTU-71system with your computer, you will need an audio interface to connect them together. Here we recommend our compact 4 channel audio mixer PTX-10. To set it up, first connect the 1/4" mix output from the PTU-5000 to the channel 1 mic input of the PTX-10 mixer. Then connect the PTX-10 to your computer using the USB power cable. Select the PTX-10 as the audio input device on your computer and then you are good to go. Thank you.

Q: can i monitor through headphones?

Short answer is yes, but it has nothing to do with the microphone. Monitoring comes from your mixer or other audio input device.

Nice Wireless microphone and Recommended product

First of all, looks good and looks professional. Secondly, it is very easy to set up using it's IR for the frequency you want and most of all, it's sound is beautiful and clean, especially when it is in the right EQ settings. Third, it's price is lower compared to Shure, a well know brand in the music industry...For me I recommend this brand more than the PTU-71 that I have...maybe next time I will buy it again or maybe the PTU-7000...Thank you very much Phenyx Pro and I did not make a mistake in my choice.
