Ghostbusters: Ghost Trap (RP Minis)

THIS IS SO AWESOME AND ADORABLE AND PERFECT FOR OUR 4 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER (WHO YES), LOVES GHOSTBUSTERS BECAUSE OF US LOL. It’s a “mini” but does and makes all the same sounds. When she uses her proton gun (which we also purchased on here), she puts the mini trap down and does a perfectly good job getting those “ghosts” into the trap lol. I saw two reviews on here from two women who made me laugh.They both complained about how small this was. Do people not read the descriptions or look at the size and dimensions of a product before purchasing it? That’s like blindly buying a shirt or a pair of pants without even looking at what size you’re choosing lol. Since now “Ghostbusters afterlife” came out and all of a sudden Ghostbusters items are flying off the shelves again like hotcakes. It’s adorable and it’s especially good enough for a child..I don’t think they even realize or care or they don’t even know the difference whether it’s huge or not. They’re just happy. And even just for a collector to put on your shrine!! Read the sizes before you purchase some thing, some good advice right there..

What can I say about this tiny little affordable wonder? It's great if you're feeling stressed or having a bad day with just enough functionality to bring a smile to your face. You won't find elaborate features, it doesn't try to be more than a momentary novelty. It's not something that is going to sustain your interest for more than a few minutes at best. The flashing red light on top and LEDs inside the trap are just enough to give you that feeling of ghost bustin' joy from the films. With a press of a button the trap opens with flashing lights and ghost trapping sound effects, then you press it again to close it. Great sound despite the speaker being on the bottom, vibrant lights (red flashing light, orange static light, two non-flashing LEDs inside the trap), and a fun little sticker book as a companion piece. Just the right size to fit perfectly on an office desk and impress your friends! Other than the doors, there are no moving parts on this model. You're not going to find multiple features on this little trap or super screen accurate details, but just enough to feel authentic to the Ghostbusters brand. Make sure you flick the on-off switch on the bottom on too before use and keep it turned off when you're not using this unit to preserve the battery life. Once you "trap the ghost", the little red indicator light on top doesn't stop flashing, till you turn the whole unit off. If you like trinkets that give you flashes of nostalgia or something small to entertain a little Ghostbustin' recruit in your life, I'd highly suggest picking this little miniature beauty up. Mini GB ghost trap with working lights, trap door, and sounds. Great addition to one’s collection for any prepared ghostbusters. Never know when a pocket sized ghost trap comes in handy. Includes a small sticker book as described. Little paint and weathering fits right in with the life size one (literally).

Got this as a gift for my Ghostbusters loving nephew. The lights and sound effects are fun and it's easy to operate. He also loved the little sticker book that came with it. Great value for what it is!

This review would have been a 5 star but unfortunately I have to complain about the quality control issue with this item. This is my third one and have returned two others in hope this doesn’t happen again or perhaps I will have to apply some glue beforehand. The bar holding the two panels falls off due to lack of glue after a few times of activating the trap. This is a wonderful item including the proton pack but hopefully this wont be a strike three on this one, be care while playing.

I really loved this miniature ghost trap and was super excited when I received it. But my excitement was short lived as I discover upon opening the packaging that the trap doors, the springs and the flap that holds them all in were all dislodged from the assembly! Thankfully the really tiny springs were still in the packaging, and it took me more than half an hour to figure out how to reassemble the trap doors such that they swing open and close properly. After fixing it, it works, though not super perfectly. Other than that, the lights and sounds work properly, thank God. I would be most happy to give this a 5 star rating but the experience was totally marred by the dislodged doors.

Ce piège est peut-être petit mais il est tellement bien fait avec les sons et lumières. Même si j'aurais préféré l'avoir en taille réel, ce petit jouet ira très bien en décoration parmis mes nombreux objets de collection de la licence Ghostbusters et je pense le mettre dans la voiture Ecto-1 du modèle Eaglemoss une fois que je l'aurai terminée. Je pense en acheter un deuxième tout simplement pour adapter l'électronique sur un piège fait maison de taille réel, étant donné que c'est une partie assez complexe à réaliser soit même cela pourrait convenir en y apportant quelques modifications dont un plus gros haut-parleur, des LED supplémentaires et une plus grosse alimentation. Je recommande ce mini piège à fantômes qui dans quelques temps risque fort d'être introuvable et du coup à un prix bien plus élevé que les 13€ que j'ai payé.
