Kitchen & Love Wild Caught Tuna with Quinoa & Chickpeas in Olive Oil, 6 oz (Pack of 8)

Delicious! A lunch favorite. Highly recommend. Easy open. Does not have that “fishy” smell. Reasonably priced for an incredible, high quality product.

This is a convenient way to have a nice lunch, and it tastes wonderful ,too. It's now a staple in my pantry.

These are so delicious and I would probably order them regularly; however, they’re non refundable and my last order came damaged (some cans had opened) with tuna juice and oil all over the case it was in, as well as the Amazon box. I didn’t feel comfortable eating any of them.

I love this tuna, quinoa & chickpeas and I also love the 4 bean tuna by Kitchen & Love. They make foods that are highly appealing to me, but also great for my health. The tuna, quinoa, and chickpeas (which also contains another superfood, lentils) is seasoned nicely, is filling, and portable to take with you to work or anywhere else. All you need is a spoon. This is a fantastic combination of superfoods and is great for brain, heart, and gut health. It has the potential to treat and or/prevent disease, although this is merely my personal observation and based on my experience with this delicious food item. If you love tuna, you will likely love the tuna, quinoa, and chickpeas as much as I do.

During the pandemic, my colleagues and I each go to our cars to eat our lunches, to avoid sharing any microwave or kitchen equipment. Usually I prepare a lunch in the morning before I leave the house, but on the mornings that I am running late, I need grab-and-go food options that don’t require prep later or re-heating. When I saw the listing for this, and the positive reviews, I took a chance and ordered it. I was not disappointed. This tasted good at room temperature, right out of the can. The flavor of the chickpea/quinoa variety is really delicious. The turmeric and other spices lend a bit of Indian-food flavor to it, which I really enjoyed. When it comes to value for money, each can is 6oz., and is a little over twice the cost of a plain 5oz. can of tuna from Trader Joe’s, but the flavor of the seasonings, and the added protein of the chickpeas, lentils and quinoa, mean I don’t need to add anything to the tuna to make it into a meal, (nor do I have to drain it); each 6oz can is full right up to the top. I came back to order more, and to try the other flavor, and thought I’d share a review with others who are considering whether to try this product.

Taste horrible and it’s oily

Seriously upon opening this my first thought was "cat food". Human grade perhaps, high end cat food perhaps, but definitely cat food. I truly enjoy canned fish for my lunches during the work week for nutrition, convenience, budget and I actually really like sardines, kippers, mackerel and tuna. I've never eaten my cats' food, but this even smells like cat food. I ate one can. I will not eat any more. I also love quinoa and chick peas. I like skipjack tuna, which this says it is. It is very dark brown in color the tuna. Doesn't look like skip jack. Sort of a mushy texture not nice flakey tuna. The taste was also kinda just yuck, more like what was left after the people tuna is processed. Way to much sodium for the size of the portion too. Not a good flavor at all. I recommend just mixing up your favorite fish with your legumes, beans or grains of choice. Please don't get this. It is truly nasty. Needs to go back to the food lab. And the box also was shipped in a bag so all the cans fell out, but they weren't damaged except for the paper sleeves.

I am so very surprised at how delicious this it. Wonderful! Do note though, that one of the images shows an 8 pack, but you only receive 1 can, so the quantity is only 1 not 8.
