This is made well, and the coolest feature is the magnet that keeps it in place on the drum, or allows you to let it hang off when not needed.

The really like how this cloth head sounds on the snare. I can also quickly take it off and attach to the other side of the snare rim because of the handy magnet. I use this for acoustic gigs but if I hit it hard, it gets good volume without the sustain. Get one! You won’t regret it.

If you need to dampen your snare sound, this thing works surprisingly well. It stays on nicely and the magnet that keeps it attached to the snare is great. Also, if you're going for a more 70's retro muffled studio snare sound, this works very well.

Yes obviously there are other ways to achieve this effect but this is a really tidy, hassle-free option. The magnet is a nice feature. The effect on the snare's timbre is significant without muting overly much. I wouldn't necessarily the sound is "bigger and fatter," but certainly drier and more focused - I happen to love the way my snares sound with these, for many styles of music. In a small practice space I also appreciate the overall dampening, the snare is definitely a little easier on the ears. They do seem "pricy" but they are well-made and very handy.

I bought this for my neighbor as he is a drummer. He said it was perfect. Works great and sounds great. He was very happy with it.

Do not bend it

They magnet on the tab is genius. It not only helps it stay on, but it makes it easy to dangle on the side for easy access. Much easier to use than my other big fat snare drum toppers for that reason. It's also simple, I could certainly cut fabric to fit on a head, but the magnet and thickness sewn on the edge make it worth paying for.

Je suis batteur depuis 30 ans. C’est sincèrement l’accessoire par excellence pour fater son snare. J’aime pas mal tous les produits Big Fat Snare Drums, mais celui-ci est mon coup de coeur. L’aimant pour empêcher le Quesedilla de bouger est vraiment efficace. J’en ai acheté 4.

Visualmente luce bien, de buena calidad y es funcional; lo recomiendo pero no es indispensable

Does what it says, Looks better than a tea towel. Minus one star as it’s quite expensive for what it is!
