To me it doesn’t seem to be the original item after a while it turned smelly even thought it was washed with soap everyday , but overall i dont recommend dr browns bottles after using other brand up to you if you want to try it

Great nipples but dont put in dishwasher - they take on the smell and flavor of the dish soap due to the heat I think.

My baby is not used to it initially, and the milk appears to overflow from his mouth. However, he adapted fast and drink much faster than level 1 teat size.

I’m a foster mom, and all of the babies that have come to me this year have been premature, are malnourished, and have weight gain issues. For three of them, they were on a pediatrician prescribed thickened formula, with an extra scoop of formula for every bottle. The issue is, that with all three, they couldn’t effectively eat and gain weight because the holes on all of the other nipple sizes and brands are too tiny. Two of the babies also had oatmeal cereal added to their bottles. I bought these and a couple wide-mouth bottles. These nipples are supposed to be for 9+ months, but I think they’re the only really effective option for even younger babies that are on thickened formula. In just one weekend, one of my little ones went from struggling to drink 2.5 oz at a time to downing 4-5 oz easily each bottle, which is the correct amount for his age range. He wasn’t even on the weight chart for his age a few days ago, and now he’s more alert, active, and even cries louder and more insistently when he needs something (I always view this as a good sign, when babies are underweight and have a very weak, quiet cry it’s a problem).
