This oil filter is original and made in Germany. with the BMW/Mini watermark on it.

Seems genuine but with non careful packaging or delivery
Product seems genuine but the packaging was very very bad. Even the filter was smashed so I tried to correct it a bit.

I bought the genuine BMW oil filter for my X5 sDrive35i and I can see why people stick with OEM. The quality feels solid right out of the box—sturdy build, perfect fit, and it comes with the necessary O-rings and drain plug washer. Installation was straightforward, no fighting with alignment or leaks afterward. The peace of mind knowing it’s made specifically for my engine is worth it, especially since BMWs can be picky with parts. I’ve tried cheaper aftermarket filters in the past, but this one just feels like it belongs. Car runs smooth and I’ll definitely keep using the original filters going forward. I didnt like the packaging looked used, but dont judge a book by its cover
