This is my second set purchased, both for older model Yukons- amazing results, highly recommended. On the second Yukon, switched air suspension to these and the ride/stability is superb.

So far this has been a really great purchase! I came here after Detroit Axles shocks fell apart after only a week and me sounding like crunchy knee caps even going over the smallest bump. Wish Monroe had the front coils like this but I’ll be getting those elsewhere. I could feel the difference right after install they adjust to weight automatically and dont mess with the oem ride height. Just install and go. They are sturdy like the oem A/C Delcos heavy duty towing shocks. Im kinda sad I paid $127 for them to drop 40 bucks the next day but whatevs. Buy them! 2004 GMC Yukon SLT 5.3 V8 4x4

Bought these for a 2005 GMC Yukon Denali XL. Rear air shocks went out so tried these instead of spending $600 on two new air shocks and a blown out pump. Lifted the rear about an inch, so I tightened up the torsion bars a bit on front to level. To install I placed a jack under the tow hitch in back and had to jack it up about a foot. To install these get it in place first, attach the top bolts first, then the bottom bolts, use a screwdriver to align the bottom holes if need be. Remove the old shocks first before jacking it up too. Do both sides at the same time while on jacks. I also pulled the RTD fuse under to hood to turn off the Service Ride Control which disabled RTD system, air pump etc.. as I also replaced fronts with standard shocks. They ride good so far, no complaints. Stiffened up the back end but not "hard". Doesn't look funky of lifted in back. Haven't tried towing but it feels like it will be good for towing ans passenger weight. In all I would say these are a good cheap easy replacement of the stock air shocks as I had hoped for. For the front I went with Gabriel LTV 58803 which seem to work good as well on these Yukons.
