Paizo Pathfinder Beginner Box (P2)

Great resource for getting new players into the game. Pre-made iconic characters help new players to see what normal looks like with a Pathfinder character. The GM guide also spells it out nicely for new players (or even old players) who want to try GMing for the first time. Maps and tokens included for all the areas of the adventure presented in the box. Also includes handy cheat sheets for actions.

The best starter set I've ever seen. A full box with all you need to both learn and play the starter adventure.

Good, basic introduction to Pathfinder 2e. The pre-generated characters each have a leaflet including their filled out character sheet at level 1, a fairly in-depth description of each of their initial abilities and actions, and a nice little bit of flavour text to get you into their shoes whilst providing some good wiggle room. The paper stock used is ideal for pencilled notes that are going to be rubbed out and rewritten often. The character sheets being printed with all level one stats mean it might be a challenge to level them up and keep the sheet legible but there are six blank character sheets included so they can always be used instead. The rule books are of a good length and solidly bound. Not the stapled together stack of sheets you usually get in starter sets that start falling apart with minimal use. The main adventure provided seems rather short compared to something with the scale of the 5E starter set and essentials kit adventures, but is presented beautifully with a huge, double sided dungeon map, plenty of thick card character and monster tokens with stands, and enough extra info and stat blocks for the GM to create their own follow-on adventures. It does say in the rulebook that there is an adventure path available to buy separately that is a direct sequel to the beginner set adventure. I'm not a huge fan of the provided dice, though the idea of color-coding them and providing a quick-guide down the side of each character sheet is a real nice touch. Being able to say "roll a d12. No, the blue one" rather than "No, the biggish one, fairly round, covered in pentagon's, yeah that one" will surely be a blessing when teaching new players.

Even though this product too quite a while to arrive (The seller claimed it sent a second copy) it finally arrived and it's in great condition.

Great value. Find some of the modernisms a bit off-putting but the actual product is terrific quality and guides you through the game one step at a time.

A good product that is easy to pick up and play for just about anyone. Playing with my 6 and 8 year old as the GM and it guides you through everything, provides an engaging storyline and gradually adds complexity for the GM and the players as encounters progress. Contains a map and pawns that make the system much more accessible to beginners of all ages without having to use minis or hand drawn maps etc. Overall I'm incredibly happy with the purchase!

Contiene tutto quello che vi serve per iniziare, incluse due versioni ridotte del manuale del giocatore e del master e una piccola avventura completa. Ovviamente non avrete a disposizione tutte le razze e le classi e avrete solo le regole strettamente necessarie a giocare l'avventura inclusa, ma è un prodotto di altissimo livello e potrete farvi un'idea del gioco senza investirci troppo. Inoltre la scatola include qualcosa come 80 standees, che utilizzo ancora oggi per le mie sessioni, sia di D&D che Pathfinder. Questo prodotto è sempre quello che consiglio a chiunque mi chieda come avvicinarsi a Pathfinder.

Make no mistake, this is the best trpg beginner box that you'll ever come across. It has everything, from a GM book, players book, monster book and tokens, assorted bases for said token and even an easy to play first adventure. Definitevely you should try it out if you're looking for an alternative for D&D after they went full on rogue.

As a person who has recently moved from DnD 5th edition I find Pathfinder to have less ambiguity in its rule set which I enjoy very much being a game master.

This is what a beginner box should be. This is the remastered version. Must buy for an introduction for anyone.
