is the fine or the micro the larger line?

The fine point tip is larger than the micro point tip.

What's the difference from this pen and the uni-ball Onyx Stick Micro Point Roller Ball Pens, 12 Black Ink Pens(60040)?

In my experience the Onyx Smooth Write Rollerball (mico point- 60040) is very similar, with the Onyx producing a slightly darker black mark. This pen has more of a "precise" feel and I put that in quotes because you'd probably have to be real picky to notice a difference, and others might totally disagree! Both flow beautifully, seem to run out of ink at pretty much the same rate and are a pleasure to write with.

Is the micro the finest point in the Uniball style ?

The micro is the finest point using standard ink, but if you like gel ink there is an ultra micro with a .38mm point. You can find them on amazon as well. I have not used them, I like the .5mm point of the micro roller ball.
