PENGUIN Redemption : Adler-Olsen, Jussi: desertcart.ae: Books Review: I have nothing against the book. Pretty good condition. Brand new or almost brand new. But, readers should read summary of the story. Fact is that REDEMPTION is another title for A CONSPIRACY OF FAITH. Review: 5 Stars for the author. Very gripping book, one of the best crime mystery i have read after very long time. All the other books by the Author on Department Q series are a must buy.

I read this in one go, a combination of a reasonable story and being an easy read. I've just re-read my review of Disgrace (Department Q 2) and this book confirms my then expressed view that the fourth in this series would be a book too far. All the tropes from the earlier books are there but I'm not sure they have been elaborated but rather becoming parodic. The paralysed colleague features for no particular reason, the separated wife similarly. His Syrian side kick is still treated in a mildly racist way and the woman introduced in book 2 develops multiple personality disorder to enable a plot device. The resolution of the plot again stretches credulity. It's not bad just try not to pay full price for it.

Redemption is the third in the Carl Morck series. Seriously pacy - bits of it was like watching a master Hollywood thriller - only better. Greatly etched out characters - just like in Q1 and Q2. Great read
