Interested in lock picking? Want to give it a go without spending a lot on a full kit? This is absolutely perfect for you. The pick itself is sturdy, well finished and smooth. It's a little thick so you won't get it into locks with super tight keyways but as a beginner you should be looking for easier more open keyways anyways. The thickness however gives it sturdiness, again, brilliant for a beginner as we can be a little rougher with our picks. I have picked two padlocks (I can now open them in seconds with this pick), and a more difficult cylinder lock. The tip is squared, not rounded, which makes it easier for me to place it properly under the pin I want to lift. The tension tool works well although I'm looking forward to getting a wider range to choose from once I get my proper kit. For less than £3 and same day delivery you can't ask for better.

Ok for a beginner to start with, ok for simple key ways but a little thick for anything normal. For the money Though they are, again ok.

This pick set has a good selection of picks and rakes for a variety of different lock types. The issue with this pick set isn't the variety, it's the sheer thickness of the picks themselves. Unless you're picking a lock with a wide open keyway, these really aren't going to comfortably fit in many locks. In addition, the thick plastic handles make it very difficult to feel feedback through the pick.

So for the price, these are quite good picks. There is so many sets out there that are all carbon copies of each other with all sorts of zips, rakes, extractors and two hooks. This has a really good range of hooks, the others i haven't and probably will not use. Well worth buying for the price to have a range of different hooks available if your main picks are struggling. Only thing i would say is they are really poorly finished. They have plastic all over the blades from the injection moulding and bits hanging off. Once these are picked off they are perfectly fine.

Bought a bunch of these as part of a set of presents last Christmas. No issues with build a quality or packaging and can confirm that theyre a good place to start if you don't want to commit to buying a full set just yet.

I have been trying to pick the lock for a while now (to no success), but that's not the point, the picks are clearly made from thin flimsy metal and the handles are sometimes sharp because the plastic is also trash, it's difficult to use and is honestly not worth the money, even if it's cheap, the practice lock is Absolutely trash, do not buy it, you're better off practicing on your door

Well it never works and now I have to phone a locksmith to help cut my padlock , it’s too flimsy not good quality
