This Amazon Basics Pliers Set is surprisingly impressive. The tools are heavy, solid, and feel like great quality—comparable to name-brand sets. For the price, you really can’t beat it. Excellent value and perfect for everyday use.

They’re a smidge larger and more substantial feeling than I was expecting for the price, so I think they’re a great value. Excellent little bundle of some essential tools for around the house.

This is a decent set of pliers for the price. They are of solid construction, and the wire cutters actually work. However, it seems that quality control isn't the greatest, as the jaws of the slip-joint pliers were vertically misaligned. The jaws of the needle nose pliers do not meet up precisely at the tip, but that seems to be usual with inexpensive needle nose pliers. Also these pliers are all starting to rust after only a few months, even though they have never been exposed to water or high humidity.

great price and good quality. Steel seems to be good, with tight tolerances. added WD40 and they work like a champ.

These pliers are very useful for household tasks. They feel sturdy and well made. The grip is comfortable and they work well for different jobs. They arrived well packaged and in excellent condition. Great purchase.

Great quality and great price. I’ve had a lot of pliers over the years, expensive and cheap and this set by far is the best for the money.

Don't expect professional quality for this price and you will not be disappointed. Yes, they work. But they are rough around the edges. I have them in a drawer for when I occasionally need one of these tools. For that, they will be fine. But I would not recommend them to a pro or contractor for everyday use.

Really good set for the price. Nice and big, fits in the hands well. Cutters is sharp, pliers is exactly what they should be.

The 4 piece set is excellent. Very robust construction, good alignment, excellent grip are the main plus points. Dont know about its rust-free nature in a humid place - only time will tell. As of now I am very happy with this purchase.

Quality tool if the price is right

decent enough tools - these are my second set. a little work sorting out sharp edges and general finishing and u get a really nice set of tools with real hard cutting edges. it is surprisingly difficult to get side cutters with decent hard but strong edges today - even the trusted brands of old can turn out made from 'monkey metal'!! - these are ok tool steel. by no means great, but workman like and well worth having.
