Gillette Venus - Hair Removal Razor for Women

I haven't used it yet but is seems to be as described.

I ordered this because the Gillette razors being sold in stores now have a rubber like handle that eventually breaks in half so you end up with half a handle to grip when shaving. This is exactly what I was hoping it would be, the original hard handled razor. I dropped one star because the description said this product came with one razor refill. It does not. You get the handle and one blade. No refill blade. They should just delete the word refill and then it would be a better description of what you'll receive.

I have used this same razir before too and it lasted really long and still the handle hasn't broke. The blades were sharp and dyrable when i purchased it before but now i finally ordered a new one. This time the razor seems to be different than the earlier ones i used to use. I have attached the pictures of my new and old razor so that you can compare easily. This time the razor body looks a little fragile and weak than before. I can't comment on its durability as i just received it. But it still looks durable maybe this a little less than before. The color if the handle and some otger little details has veen changed now. I don't know if this is just a design improve or a degradation of durability! The blades are differently designed too . There are some edges on the blade this time and alos the green srrip is more visible . Earlier it used to be less visible. This pack has 3 cartilages with obe body and this is enough for 3 years atleast for me as i dont have too much hairs to shave. The razor is very easy to use, you don't need a shaving cream or foam, i just apply bodywash and roll the razor over it very smoothly and it does the job very well. The cleaning oart is little bit messy and for that i have some retired toithbrush , i use them to remove the stuck hairs from the cratilages from the back side so that toothbrush bristles won't mess up with my blade sharpness. Overall still a good purchase Honestly when i opened up the pack , i thought it was fake but then i realized it was real and tgey actually chabged the design a little

I ordered this as a replacement but then located my other blade so was getting a little ahead of myself because ...this is a damn good razer!! One I'm not willing to part ways with.. I usta be one of those low maintenance hippyish girls who bought disposable one-blades and had no idea what the eff I was doing. I was ending up with cuts and bleeding. Until I decided to subscribe to this beautiful piece of five-blade. *I use Skintimate shave cream in a vanilla sugar cookie scent. **For best results replace blade every 6 months, and especially at the begining of beach/pool season. Exfoliate. Moisturize. Repeat. ***Get a good sunscreen (30proof) And wear lots of skirts. Why not?
