Could not be happier.
The Leap V2 is a tried and true office chair that's been on the market since 2006. Before purchasing I read posts from people who have been using it for 15+ years, and some other chairs from Steelcase for longer. So I have no worries about the longevity of this chair. Adjustable lean, height, 4 way arm rests, lumbar, etc. As for this product specifically, the Crandall Remanufactured Leap V2, I couldn't be happier. They actually IMPROVED it with a slightly thicker cushion and more durable fabric, on top of all the parts they completely replace. As a result, it looks fresh and brand new, and comfortable for hours. Overall, it's a great value on a very functional chair.

Good quality for good price
The chair arrived very quickly and was easy to assemble with the included instructions. It was significantly cheaper than a new version, and it was in excellent condition. Only signs of wear were some minor scuffs on the base near the casters, which don’t affect function and you can only see if you flip the chair upside down. The replaced cushion is very comfortable, which was a concern I had about some of the reviews for the chair straight from the manufacturer. There is a lot of adjustment options compared to cheaper office chairs. The arm pads were a bit hard for my tennis elbow, but I placed some cheap memory foam covers over them, and they’re perfect now.

Comfortable and supportive, but pricey with a few quality quirks
I’ve been using this chair for a few weeks now, and overall I’m really happy with it. The comfort is top-notch — great support for long hours, and the adjustment options make it easy to dial in the right fit. Size-wise, it works well for my setup and doesn’t feel bulky. Stability is decent, though there’s a bit of wiggle in some parts that doesn’t quite match the premium price tag. For $700, I expected a bit more solid build quality. That said, it looks sleek and professional, and the firmness is just right — not too stiff, not too soft. If comfort is your top priority and you don’t mind spending a bit more, this chair delivers. Just be aware that the build might not feel quite as high-end as the price suggests.

Great chair, don't hesitate
I had been looking into Steelcase chairs for a while but was really hesitating on which one to get. Ultimately, my search led me to Crandall Office and the reviews made me take a shot. It's a great chair. I really like the adjustability and it's super comfortable for long sessions. I do wish I'd gone ahead and gotten mine custom, with a green upgraded fabric and maybe the extra back padding. There's nothing wrong with it as is, but if I'd been a bit more patient, I'd have been happier with the appearance.

A great remanufactured chair with very minor differences from the original
Having used leaps at work and purchased leaps directly from steelcase I can say that this is a good version of the leap chair. Overall great value with *actual* refurbishments from a 3rd party office furniture company. * Steelcase ships chair fully assembled and ready to go in a giant box, the Crandall chair ships in a smaller box and requires minor assembly (roughly 10-15min, casters, air cylinder, seat side panels, seat frame, seat bottom - roughly in that order). Except for the air cylinder no tools are required (a hex wrench was included for the air cylinder adjustment). The instructions look chaotic (probably because they fit everything onto a single page). * The fabric is different from my chairs (but also steelcase offers many different fabric options. Still soft. * The extra cushion in the seat is nice, I wish my steelcase had the extra cushion. This is the biggest plus for me over a standard leap. * The armrests are not as soft as the original. These are a bit firmer and have a harder surface. (could be a plus if you're into that). * I can still sit long periods of time in this chair with no back pain.

Love it so far, (Day 1 review)
Chair is basically brand new like the other people have said, Shipping was ULTRA fast, 2 day shipping. Amazon initially said 5-6 days. Took around 8-9minutes for me to put it together (Comes in 2 parts basically). When I first sat down on it, was already happy knowing this is an upgrade over my race car gaming chair. The seat is thick and firm, not too firm. You'll sink into it a bit depending on your weight. I like the thickness/firm feeling because I feel like it won't bottom out as fast as a thinner pad would. The arms are adjustable completely, they aren't soft but the build quality is nice. Also, they have a resistance to them so you have to give it a push to move it inwards / outwards (Which means it's well built and sturdy). The frame is practically new, you can tell they really clean it up for you. Upon receiving you'll think it's a new chair, new fabric, cushion and more. For the back, personally I didn't like the lumbar support so I took it out, (Felt too pushy and thick, probably due to my poor posture) and the back frame already has a curve to it to give your back support. They provide a video on how to remove the lumbar support on Youtube. Overall, day one I'm very happy. I can rock in it and keep a reclined position if I'd like, and you really feel fitted to the frame and seat, basically like you aren't going anywhere and strapped in. Another good thing is the warranty, I'm not sure if they replace stuff in the future for free like the seat, but It's cool knowing they have a good support team to ship whatever you need later on. For my Height, I'm 5'9 And around 195 Pounds. The size of the frame and chair is literally a perfect fit.

Great customer support
Chair arrived quickly and was easy to assemble. Feels great and looks great, almost as if brand new! I had some minor trouble with the left arm not holding it's vertical position and reached out to their customer support. They responded to my request within 24 hours and sent me a replacement part the next business day. Replacement works great and I am very happy with the customer support I got!

Better than from the manufacturer !! no really
so i just finished my chair quest. i tried the highest rated per reddit/internet. 1. Leap V2 2. Gesture 3. Embody the Embody is a very well made, very comfortable chair. i'm 5'7, and if i were over 5'9 i would have kept this chair. the lumbar was too agressive and it pushed all the way up into my thoracic spine area- too high. but i do recommend that chair for non short people the gesture is a little like this as well, the lumbar and ergonomics of the back are too aggressive/tall but the leap... the leap is perfect for my 150lb/5'7 frame. here is the thing though crandall will add more padding, to me it feels like both the seat AND the back have more padding, as i JUST purchased a leap - brand new from a licensed distributor in person- for my home office, and the Crandal is more comfortable due to the thicker seat padding!!! i cant recommend them enough. this chair is bad ass, and you still get a 12 year warranty for almost 50% off the price. I'm honestly considering returning my brand new leap and re-ordering this specific crandal refurb as its noticeably more comfortable! if you know you like the leap, dont hesitate to get it from crandal! (leap is made in mexico, so far no issues!)
