I purchased this pump a year and a half ago and was thrilled with it until today when it stopped working for no apparent reason (leak or physical damage). Of course, it is no longer guaranteed, but what irritates me the most (to put it mildly) is that it is NOT REPARABLE!!! On the Grundfos website, one may purchase spare parts for a Scala 2 pump, but no one, not even the manufacturer, can fix it!! These pumps cost at least twice as much as ordinary ones on the market, but they fail just as frequently and are not repairable; therefore, go with the cheaper repairable alternative!!

Amazing Pump

First pump was replaced under warranty. Though second pump developed leaking issue after 6 months and failed after 12 months, the manufacturer would not replace the second one. Suppose it’s a good pump as long as it works, until such time it doesn’t. It’s unfortunate to have two failures in short time.
